"As you step onto the porch of The Galley and take in the Manhattan skyline, you quickly realize that you haven't really left the city; instead, you've stumbled upon a charming spot that captures the essence of a New England seaside town. The food at The Galley is outstanding. From the pulled pork sliders that could easily serve as a main dish to the generously-sized crab cake served on a bed of greens, every bite is a delight. The Caprice sandwich and the fresh grilled Atlantic salmon are equally impressive. Yes, there's a beef burger on the menu, and it's big, juicy, and comes with homemade potato chips, just like all the sandwiches. The strawberry and spinach salad is nearly as sweet as dessert! Plus, the bartender knows how to whip up a fantastic Mojito. While some diners have noted slower service, it's worth mentioning that The Galley is feeling the effects of the industry's worker shortage. On the bright side, this gives you more time to savor that beautiful view. (Just to be transparent, I am a member of the CIYC and have been dining at The Galley since it opened in mid-May.)"
