"I wanted to share my experience at Ed's restaurant where we celebrated my 60th birthday on Saturday, October 14th. It was absolutely wonderful! The staff was attentive, friendly, and fun, making the night even more special. The pizza was incredible—several friends from the city chimed in, saying it was the best pizza they’d ever had. "Was at my folks over weekend who live very close so we tried EC Subs for the first time. People, trust the fatness, I was very satisfied. The rolls were nice and fresh, sub ingredients were very fresh, nothing was skimped on, and everything was how we asked. The loaded tots were very good. Ordering was simple online and food was ready exactly when alerted. Very good will definitely keep EC Subs in mind when I visit my folks."

So we really did enjoy the delicious food it was so good I got a pastrami sandwich with the ? curly fries ? OMG! "A place in the hood for quick and/or late night eats that always hits the spot and doesn't break the bank . You can walk in but I always use the drive through. Call ahead and you don't have to wait. The staff are always respectful and I don't think I've ever had an order that was inaccurate. The lunch specials are really valuable. I don't eat chicken but my daughter has moved to Dayton and she practically has standing order for wings from Hooks when I drive out. My typical order is fried okra and whiting. They sprinkle done kind of lemon pepper on the okra and it makes them so tasty that they barely make it home. This is great place for fried food."

"Been coming here since I was 11 but that's a whole other story. The fried chicken is the best. Good fun with the regulars. Classic tavern at it's best. New owners took it over recently and remodeled. I'm usually not a fan of remodeling any classic bar, but this is an exception to the rule. The new folks did a great job. Added about 26 pull tab bowls, repurposed the old shuffle board that has been there for ever."
