"Let’s start with the drinks. We ordered two Manhattans. One was full and one was not. Someone had obviously spilled nearly half of the second one but they brought it to our table anyway. The Hanger Steak and Fries were bad. The steak was very tough and grizzly. I had to spit out my first bite. I did not even finish one piece. All of the fries were oily and soggy and not edible at all. It was obvious I didn’t eat anything on my plate and mentioned it to the waitstaff when they cleared our table. But, nobody seemed to care. We left feeling invisible and not appreciated. I sent an email to the Restaurant that same night and never received a reply."

"We came here for dinner 10/11/24 There was no wait time, we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was really cool. Staff was patient and kind. "Racist and discriminatory behavior by owner...My family went here recently for my father 's birthday. My mom called twice a few days prior trying to make a reservation for 20 people and asked if she could bring a cake. Both times the receptionist (who is family with the owner) said they don 't take reservations but could do a walk in and she could bring a cake. (Already poor restaurant management experience bc who in their right mind says a 20 top walk in is ok lol) anyway...on the day of my mom called 15 minutes before my family was set to arrive just to confirm for a third time that they were good to walk in as a 20 top and was transferred to the owner who said ABSOLUTELY NOT and that they better not come by the restaurant. Frantically my mom and family tried to figure out where to go for my dad 's birthday with 20 people waiting to figure out the new plan. After calling multiple restaurants who said they couldn 't take a large group last minute (obviously), they decided to try to go to this restaurant and just get multiple smaller tables at varying times in an effort to help out and not inundate the waitstaff and kitchen at the same time. Upon arrival the owner yelled at my mom and told her again ABSOLUTELY NOT and that he told her to stay away. He then said that it was impossible the receptionist during the week told her it was ok to walk in as a 20 top bc it is his family (lol). He then said in front of my entire family and in the most rude and degrading tone possible: IT IS BECAUSE OF YOUR ACCENT THEY DON 'T UNDERSTAND YOU. My mom is Brasilian and has lived in the US for 30 years and has nearly perfected her English during that time...she was embarrassed and felt incredibly disrespected by this little man. You would think after the restaurant having struggled through the pandemic there would be some sense of humility. But alas- true colors always shine through. "We had a delightful midweek outing at Marblehead, thanks to a $12 coupon we received in the mail for my wife's birthday. The restaurant offers an impressive loyalty program and boasts some of the freshest seafood in the Valley. I really enjoyed my fried clam basket; unlike many places that use frozen, breaded strips, Marblehead makes theirs from scratch. My wife's seafood au gratin was rich and filled with delicious pieces of seafood. And I can't forget to mention my corn seafood chowder—it was absolutely amazing! Our server, Laura, was attentive and ensured we knew about the daily specials while keeping our drinks topped up. I did manage to take a few pictures, but only after we couldn't resist digging in—sorry about that!"

"No waiting with my reservation. Service was great. Appetizers were as ordered, drinks perfect but they would not cook a prime rib rare only medium rare and it came out medium. Sent it back for a filet mignon which was perfectly done medium rare. Deserts were also great."

"My 2 adult sons and my sister in law and I met for lunch at the Rye Bar and Grill We all agreed that the food was delicious ! My sister in law had New England Fish Chowder and shrimp tacos She said both were delicious! I had the fish chowder and a chopped salad both excellent My sons both had Caesar salad and a burger with fries both agreed that all their food was delicious just how they liked it We also had **** Mary’s so good! Our waitress was attentive and polite she asked how we wanted our food and brought it to us exactly that way! There were alot of people in the room because there was a private party upstairs) so it was a little noisier than usual but not too bad."

"Had a great experience making reservation on Open Table for Oceania Restaurant in Clayton, MO and being seated where we preferred. Our waiter, Pierre, was charming and very helpful explaining items on the menu. Pierre and other staff checked on us regularly and served food in timely fashion. Food was delish, beautifully plated and ample servings. We were allowed to extend our conversation beyond eating with no interference. Had a very enjoyable experience all around. Will return."

"Ruby’s is our “go to” place and love to introduce it to friends who have never been. We sat outside and although we think our waitress is always exceptional it was difficult for one server to handle all the tables. Service was les than perfect. Menu is inventive, loved the daily specials and food is delicious. Music was a bit too loud and when asked if it could be lowered our server looked like we were crazy. We just decided to talk louder. Indoor seating seemed packed, we had requested the patio. So happy Ruby’s made it thru Ida and, whenever asked, will highly recommend it. These small blips in the end are meaningless- it’s an important fixture in Rye and we need to keep it in town."

"Our server barely spoke more than ten words to us. She didn't greet us or acknowledge our presence. When she asked for our drink order, we still hadn’t received a menu. Although she wasn’t overtly rude, she certainly wasn’t friendly either. The crab cakes were disappointing—there was barely any flavor. My salad arrived without dressing, and when I asked the server for some, she responded, "I wasn't sure what they wanted, so I just brought Caesar." She set it down and walked away before I could reply. The salad was listed as a special and was supposed to come with honey lemon vinaigrette. It took her 20 minutes to return with the bill, and she didn't even offer a farewell or express any gratitude. If the food had been good, I could have overlooked the poor service, or vice versa, but in this case, both were lacking."

"eating was plentiful and very good. we were happy, we just ordered the size of the meal. some negative: this is a somewhat expensive restaurant. my short ripening on Polnta special was $38 while her bone in black was $32. we wanted to be moved from our first table because the area was cold. our server was not dressed in a wise way that we thought for holy evening, she wore a teen shirt and jeans. the restaurant was from the only American chardonnay they had on the bottle, a sonoma cutrer. we have replaced a very beautiful gruner veltliner from Austria, which is available from the glass (they sold us the bottle for the same price as the sunoma cutrer, a more stylish move.) all in all, a pleasant, if something expensive holy evening."

"We absolutely love dining at Woodside. The service is fantastic and the food is incredible. On our recent visit, my goddaughter and I enjoyed two fabulous dishes. I started with a delicious Caesar salad that had the perfect size and crispy croutons, topped with a perfectly spiced dressing. For my main course, I had the dinner special - a pecan crusted chicken breast topped with bratwurst and pomegranate. It was delicious. My goddaughter had the filet mignon cooked to a perfect medium rare, it was incredibly tender. We also took desserts to go - a pecan pie and their signature grilled limoncello pound cake with a heavenly sauce and vanilla ice cream. The desserts were amazing. To top it off, there was a mentalist who entertained diners at no extra cost. We were so impressed that we left him a tip. He even read our palms, adding to the overall experience. It was a truly memorable dining experience at Woodside."

"We are traveling in from out of state and regret not choosing somewhere else to eat for the day. I chose this place and we arrived at 10:20. We were told they stopped serving breakfast at 11- we had PLENTY of time to order. We sat down at 10:27 and were given breakfast menus. Nobody came to serve us. This was AFTER we watched a table of 6-8 get up and leave after not being served and the server being VERY rude to them and yelling at them. We should’ve known then. We chose to still give it a try. 25 minutes later, we had asked about a server and the busser said ‘well we don’t serve lunch until 11’. Okay, 1, still can we get a server? 2, we were here in PLENTY of time for breakfast! My husband went up and asked to switch to lunch menus since the server has ignored us. She switched them and then she still didn’t come over to our table. 11:05 comes around, FINALLY someone else comes over and her initial hello was ‘hi I just walked in the door I’m not sure what’s going on but I was told to come to your table’. With frustration, I explained what happened. Luckily she was very sweet but still we were not impressed. Food was pretty decent, but I will never return as the service was so poor. Watching a server yell at customers is NOT okay, even if you’re busy. And watching a server completely ignore tables and wait on (obvious) regulars that walked in AFTER us, again not okay. We would have left but it would have taken more time to load two small children up than to wait. But in the hour and a half we were there, we watched three tables get up and leave. This is a poor representation for a restaurant."

"came back this summer to repair my bondi burger. the square had renovated the outside seating area and it looked very beautiful. nicole was our waitress and she was very nice and fast. the burger was as great as last time.
