"We were greeted and shown to our table immediately upon arriving. However,it took 10 minutes for anybody to talk to us after that. The hostess who seated us brought us our waters. After about 5 more minutes, 15 minutes after being seated, the hostess finally came over and introduced herself. We ordered our food and, surprisingly, received our food fairly quickly. I ordered the fried chicken and my wife the pasta. Even though we received our food quickly, it was very bland and for the price we were paying, was expecting more. Lastly, when making the reservation, I did put a note that we were in town celebrating my wife’s bday. To my disappointment, not one person acknowledged this. We were in town from Atlanta and heard good things about Gray’s, but from our experience, it did not live up to expectation, unfortunately."
