"The special that day was fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. We waited for a while, convincing ourselves that fried chicken takes longer to prepare if it's made to order. However, when we finally received our meals, everything was cold! We each got two very small, overcooked pieces of chicken (a wing and a thigh). My wife specifically asked for white meat and only got one small piece along with a tiny wing.
The mashed potatoes were cold and had way too much sour cream in them, paired with very cold gravy. The green beans were stringy and also cold. We brought this to the attention of our young waitress, who didn't seem surprised. She simply said she would let someone know, and that was the last we heard from her. My wife could barely eat a few bites, and my sister-in-law even considered refusing to pay. In the end, we decided it was best to just not return.
As we were leaving, I noticed a couple at the table across from us returning their food and shaking their heads in disappointment. We should have done the same, but we were short on time. We definitely won't be back!"
