"There was a slight mixup with our reservation- we were seated upstairs waiting for our party, and when they arrived were seated downstairs. Apparently new greeters working NYE. The waiters were excellent and the food was outstanding. Appetizers- calamari, burratta, and eggplant were all delicious and waiters divided them for the party. Entrees were fabulous- I had short ribs perhaps best I ever had. Side dishes of roasted potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli rabe were excellent. Busboys were a little over eager to take dishes away while still eating, and reaching over me while eating- but seemed young and inexperienced and it was NYE. The ambience and the decor are really lovely- the price was not exorbitant- and everyone loved their dinners. Really loved the food. Desserts were very good as well- although I didn’t care for the traditional Italian cheesecake I ordered. Didn’t taste like cheesecake at all- but anyways- somebody must like it. I will definitely eat here again. Loved this Tuckahoe version of a restaurant that I loved on Arthur Avenue."
