"I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars, but I want to emphasize that it surpasses the taste of any 4-star restaurant in Tulsa, OK. However, the reason for the 3-star rating is a dirty water glass. Additionally, it took a while for the waiter to take our order, and when she finally did, her English wasn’t very clear, which made communication difficult. Fortunately, another waiter stepped in when he noticed she was having trouble, and that was very considerate of him. The food came out quickly, which is definitely a plus in my book. The pho broth was just mediocre. Moreover, we were missing one of the appetizers we ordered, so we requested that it be removed from the final bill. Overall, while this place has potential, it lacks the attention to detail that could create a more positive customer service experience."

"The food was very good. Our female server was nice. My issue is with who appears to be the lady owner or manager. It was before 8 pm on a Sunday night. They were closing early which was fine. When we asked the lady not the server for a to go container for our fish sauce for my huge un eaten leftover fried fish which we already poured into a dish , the lady said they had no container. I asked for a cup that the beverages are bc we had one for our orange juice but there was still OJ in it . She said she would have to charge us for a drink to get that cup. She then took away the fresh fish sauce that was in a big container at the table away like we were gonna steal all of her fish sauce. Now She came back w a very small container for the fish sauce and very small containers for everything else . We asked for a container for our leftover soup. She gave us a small container for it which we could have used for the fish sauce and said that's all they had. We saw our original server and asked for a larger container for our soup. Immediately, she came out w the proper container. Not sure why the owner/manager lady was being so stingy after we spent $130 for a family of 4 for to go containers. It was was so surreal!! I feel sorry for the poor server to work for such a stingy owner! Now, we don't want to return because we don't want to see that lady owner!"

"The pho ga is simply the best soup I’ve ever had! The broth is rich and velvety. It’s so basic, yet unbelievably delicious! I find myself craving it right now. Whenever I’m feeling under the weather, Turtle Tower is my go-to. When the weather is chilly, Turtle Tower is the answer. When I need some comfort food, it’s Turtle Tower again. I wish I could have Turtle Tower every day, and thankfully, it’s just a block away from me. The regular pho is good too, don’t get me wrong—I’m a pho enthusiast—but the chicken pho always wins out for me. It has a lovely Vietnamese flavor with a hint of French influence. It’s simple yet incredibly tasty. My only complaint... and it pains me to say it... is about the nem cua (cha gio). They just don’t hold up well when paired with the noodles and veggies—they lose their crispiness. Still, they’re flavorful, and I love the vegetables!"

"I visit this restaurant on days when I'm trying to save money. I always stick to their Chicken Noodle Soup, which is a delicious blend of chicken served in a Vietnamese-style broth with thick rice noodles. Since it can get quite chilly in San Francisco, it's the perfect spot for a comforting warm meal. However, I'm not a fan of the neighborhood; I prefer the Geary location instead. If you enjoy eating chicken organs, you can add them for about $1 more, but I'm not a fan of intestines or those types of dishes. Unlike typical Pho places, this restaurant doesn't provide bean sprouts or basil as sides."

"Pho among usPho Ngoon 's broth tastes a little bit different than most pho place i frequented. Maybe because they are hanoi style? I don 't know. But pho ngoon tastes somewhat heavier, gamey (in a good way , and seems like doesn 't need hoisin to enjoy the dish. Some pho place sometimes rely heavily on hoisin it gave a weird aftertaste.An interesting detail, at least on my order, is that the rice noodle is warm (as opposed to cold like most places . You don 't have to pull and split apart the noodles to 'revive ' them from their cryogenic state. The broth retains the heat longer thanks to this. But in hindsight, that also means you have to be more patient in dining.Overall it 's a nice pho place. The meats are nice and seems like having more fats on them (yes! . The beef strips are slightly on the tough side, but not that it hinders your enjoyment. Interesting broth, but comforting soul food indeed."

"Delicious northern style Vietnamese fare. Fast and friendly service. The other reviews here saying that they 've 'had better pho in the city ' are missing the point. This place is not going to be your typical southern Vietnamese pho joint, so it will be like comparing apples to oranges. Broth is not going to be sweet and heavily spiced, but instead much more basic with a hint of ginger."
