"I had no idea Buca de Beppo was a chain restaurant when I made the reservation. Upon arrival, two members of our dinner party told me they had both previously eaten in different locations, so I was initially a little concerned that the food would be "average." I was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious! The service was attentive and friendly. The family style food was well prepared. The pasta was hot and al dente. We enjoyed the familystyle presentation"

"We hosted a youth basketball end of season banquet and it was very well received by the coaches, players and parents. We had our own private room, the kids could interact without disturbing other patrons, we went with the Firenze option and there were options for everyone and enough food to go around. The only feedback I heard was the chocolate cake was dry, we are critical when it comes to dessert! The staff and manager were accommodating and helpful. In fact, one parent took photos and sent to a friend to recommend the venue. Thank you!"

"Location 3: Busy Ventura Blvd in Encino, CA in SFV. Metered street parking available but hard to come by. Private lot tends to get full on weekends. Side-street parking is for residents only and requires a permit. Venue 4: Typical Buca di Beppo setting attempting to depict old Italy. It's a maze of busily decorated rooms that are reached from the reception and bar area by walking through the kitchen. The Pope table (which is at most if not all Buca's is very popular with the patrons (you can see it in the pics . The separate bar is large and friendly. They seem to attract large gatherings due to the fact that portions are huge and filling, which really works out well for large parties. Service 3: Service is about average. Friendly but not attentive. They tend to get busy with large tables and forgot about the others. We were seated in one of the rooms with two large and loud parties and as a result we got little attention from the server. Food 3: This sounds cliche, but food used to be better : Most everything comes in 2 portion sizes; Regular which can already feed 3 people or large that can feed about 5-6. Prices aren't low but again portions are huge. Dishes are American Italian comfort food (pastas and chicken mostly , nothing too fancy or sophisticated. I personally like the huge, gooey Lasagna and the Chicken Parm. Some other pastas like the Fettuccini Alfredo or the Cheese Ravioli are too saucy and overwhelming for me. Drinks 4: They have a full bar and some interesting, creative cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks. Reasonably priced. The Last Word 3: Buca is one of the places that I leave thinking I won't be coming back, but after a while I do :D A nice convenient spot to satisfy your comfort food craving. I wish they would make an effort to improve the food and service a bit."

"It has been several years since we last went to Buca. I can see from this visit why they are going bankrupt. The quality of the food has fallen dramatically. It is very generic American style Italian without any hint of true Italian flavor, i.e. the herbs and spices are sparse and low grade. The tomatoes taste canned. The Italian sausage tastes stale. And considering that we paid nearly $35 per person in total, that is not acceptable. There are far better family style Italian restaurants around, especially mom&pop places that support local communities. We've been to every Buca in the LA area over the years. But Brea will be the last one we ever go to."

I’m now 100% a spagett boy and it’s all thanks to the wonderful staff and the fantastic food! Why waste your time at a restaurant that only serves burg or onion rings when you and your family, friends, pep-pep, step pepper, pee-paw and even gramamamamama can go to here! Seriously try the meatballs but be sure you got a cola…they spicy!"

"My family and I celebrated my daughter’s graduation at Bucca di Beppo. We chose this restaurant because of their family style dining. Though we had to remind our server a few times of requested items, our service wasn’t horrible. It wasn’t until a different server came over to assist our server with the cake. This server leaned completely over our cake. When she was made aware of leaning over the cake and almost smashing it, she immediately became defensive. She proceeded to argue with me about having bigger plates for the cake (plates we did not request) rather than taking accountability. She immediately brushed past me nearly bumping into me. This by far was the worst experience that I have ever had. I was expecting more when eating at this restaurant. I am highly disappointed and refuse to eat here again."

"We had been to the Las Vegas and Redondo Beach location and was really looking forward to the austin location, so much so we were willing to drive an hour to go there. We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and had to wait for them to check on a table. Should have known something was up since the restaurant was empty. They seated us at a table by the bar where the entire room was empty. We had to wait forever for our waiter/bartender to come over. When he did come over he was only wearing his mask on his chin. We ordered our drinks and eggplant parmigiana. We had to ask for bread, then we had to ask for the oil. When the eggplant arrived it was burnt and the cheese tasted like it was rubbery (probably microwaved) we also had a meatball that was awful as well. We were ready to leave and the waiter/ bartender looked at us a couple of times and ignored us while he talked to co-workers. Needless to say I wont be back to that location. Dont waste your time or your money, better off going to O.G"

"My family and I had the wonderful experience of dining at the kitchen table during lunch! This reservation option has finally returned since 2020! We loved watching the hardworking staff in the kitchen as they prepared incredible dishes. The general manager, Jason, made our visit even more memorable by teaching my daughter how to make cannolis. He really encouraged her creativity by preparing a batch right at our table. It was truly one of the most unique and unforgettable meals we've had to date. I highly recommend dining here!"

"smaller portioning and less menu options than pre-paride, which is to be expected as this happens in all restaurants. However, we were very disappointed that the server/cashier did not honor the free brownie sunshades when I brought the birthday coupon, only the $20 if it clearly stated on the credit that buca di beppo will honor both as it is a combined credit card. the food quality also seemed to have gone downhill, with the exception of the mozarella garlic brot, fried calamari and brownie sunflower that were on the site. the chicken limone and lasagne were disappointing as they took about 45 minutes to come to our table, although the appetizers come in about 7 minutes. fortunately, they did because my teenage son had been rugged and extremely unhappy since it was his birthday party. the lasagne was room temperature and tasted as if she was sitting for a dae and the chicken limone had no taste at all. overall, our experience was a mix of good and bad, which is not sure to us when we come back soon."

"The server pushed to upsell us to a shared drink but never mentioned it was that expensive and it turned out to taste like coolaid, lots of sugar no alcohol. The server did warn us the kitchen was running behind but it took ninety minutes for our entrees to come. Meanwhile there were pickup orders going out the door fast. When the entrees finally arrived they could have been cooked a bit longer and one entree was much cooler than the other we ordered. The side of broccoli tasted like boiled frozen vegetable overcooked. I nearly fell out of my chair when the bill came for for people before tip. Terrible experience and no management to be found in the warehouse sized space of the restaurant much less one stopping by to ask how were were during the two hour and forty five minute meal fifteen minutes of which was actually eating the entrees that were subpar"

"When we first arrived no one was at the front of the restaurant to greet us. One girl was on the phone saw me and turned the other way. The waitress was very friendly however when we were half way thru our meal she was given four more tables to take care of and with four empty rooms we didn’t understand why a family with two screaming children were seated directly behind us. We saw other employees however none of them offered to help her get drink orders and we watched one table leave because they had waited so long for attention. The peaceful environment went away and we quickly finished our meal so we could leave. It isn’t cheap to eat out and when we go out we want to enjoy it. You should have more than one server at lunch and more than one room open. Hostess should be at least offering water while waiting for waitress"

"update: food poisoning! I was vomiting and had the worst stomach pain of my life from this place. not gott! ewe. had arranged a reservation for 3. at 3. was not greeted, stood for 5 minutes for someone, no one in sight. looked down and waited another 10 minutes and finally came a worker to the restaurant and found the greeting for us. the place was empty. the same person who welcomed us took our order. 15 minutes after our order, another man came to our table to let us know that our seger left to run had an edge! I'm sorry. we were crunchy on a light time and did not make it our next date. it took us and a half hours after our reservation to get out of there. eating was not good. All right. calamari was a free taste. pizza tasted sharp and tomato sauce tasted like pfeffer. the walls are covered from top to bottom in dusty pictures and decoration and all the rooms were tiny. filz claustrophobic. if they don't like small filthy areas, not for them."

"The food was outstanding. We ordered several dishes in small portions since there were only four of us, yet we still ended up with plenty of leftovers to take home. The prices are very reasonable, especially for a large family— you get generous servings of delicious food without breaking the bank. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you go, be sure to ask for Trevor. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed bruschetta, pasta, chips and dip, mozzarella, garlic bread, spaghetti with marinara sauce, fettuccine Alfredo, meatballs, and lasagna. We even took home a tiramisu for dessert!"

"The ambiance and service was outstanding as usual, but unfortunately the quality of the food hampered the evening. We ordered the trio appetizer spicy shrimp, mozzarella triangles and the calamari , which was very good. The Gargonzola salad was delicious, but the Chicken parm came up seriously short. The first bite into it we all looked at EACHOTHER and described it as “doughy” with no taste at all. It was a bummer for sure. We ordered the marinara spaghetti to with. This wasn’t too bad, but just eh. Thank god we ordered a small margarita pizza. That saved the evening. Overall the marinara on the spaghetti and on the pizza was ok, but needs to be reassessed and tweaked. Very bland and nothing to make you leave saying “OMG that was delicious”. Our waitress was attentive and made sure our glasses never went empty. We asked for an extra loaf of bread, which she delivered promptly. Our family loves Buca’s and this was a very much anticipated outing since the restrictions on COVID were lightened. Sadly, the food was under par. Sorry Buca. We’ll definitely be back though"

"My wife and I decided to try Bucca for Thanksgiving Dinner. I made a reservation through this app and, few days later, I got a call from the resto to confirm. This is our first time celebrating Thanksgiving at Bucca di Beppo. Their Thanksgiving Menu is a prix fixe, either for 3 or 6 people. Or, one can order from their regular menu, except the pizza. Unfortunately, there is no turkey dinner set for one person. So my wife ordered the menu for 3 people and it was a lot for her! Since I 'm not a turkey lover, I ordered a separate dish Chicken parmigiana with spaghetti marinara sauce. According to wifey, she liked her food, except the stuffings. But with mine, honestly I didn 't like it much. The spaghetti was too saucy which made the chicken saggy. Overall, the service is good, the food is oK, the ambiance is fine but too loud, and the price is exorbitant. So, from this experience, sorry to say, non tornaremo piú. Arrividerci, Bucca!"

"It's cute. Eclectic decorating kinda like a TGIF. I'd heard good things about this franchise. My niece loves the one in Columbus. So, I was excited to try it. It serves meals family style, so if there are 2 of you, both need to agree on what you're getting. It's probably easier with 4 or more. We ordered an antipasto salad. Very good and more than enough for 2 hungry travelers. But the spaghetti and meatballs were bland. If there was an ingredient that stood out in the meatballs, it would be bread crumbs. Just boring. The garlic bread looked like day old, split hot dog buns. Dry. Enough to feed 6 people but would they want to eat it? So, now I know. Maybe there are better locations where they use spices."

"Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. There were only two servers on the floor on a Friday night and the restaurant is huge. The service was so incredibly slow although our waitress was lovely); it took over 30 minutes just to get drinks. The food came at all different times and a lot was cold and didn’t taste fresh. "they may be short staffed but our appetizers salad,and entrees were brought at once. the table wasn't bussed, no one filled waters or checked on refills, had to wave at servers to get another glass of wine,we had to ask for plates and forks for dessert and the desserts were bland and flavorless. our server worked hard and tried...but when the manager scans the room and picks up one check to be paid and doesn't go to alllll the tables you know there's a training issue at the "top ..we waited to pay our bill for minutes"

"Unfortunately the service and quality of food at this location has diminished. The restaurant itself is a maze, you’re put into tiny little rooms with tables on top of each other. What families seat is so close together everyone hears everyone’s conversations. It was extremely inappropriate for my children to be listening to conversation that was between two adult women behind us. Food arrive extremely too fast, chicken wasn’t uncooked and the red sauce with it was cold. The chicken in my kids past was old and over cooked. There is plenty of restaurants on Milwaukee Avenue in Wheeling, avoid this place!"
