"I'm not sure why they even bother with this second, suburban, strip mall location when it in no way meets the standard of the original downtown. The cavernous, industrial decor is the opposite of the cozy, intimate feel I want in an Italian restaurant. The salads were filled with lettuce that was VERY past fresh [rotten], the dressing tasted like that sugary Kraft Italian off the shelf, the silverware was smudged, and the water tasted off. It was just one thing after another, building to an unpalatable entree, and, ultimately, a thoroughly unsatisfying feeling of having to then pay the bill for food we didn't eat/enjoy. There is zero ambiance, no view, and not surprisingly no customers. We were there on a weekend night and were the only people in the place the entire time. The server was very sweet and seemed to do all she could (great wine suggestion), but good service isn't enough to make up for mediocre food. We will not be back. Note to Luna Rosa Downtown: This location is a liability to your reputation."
