"This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Central Florida area. It's too bad that it's not in Orlando so that it's more accessible as we would be going weekly. The ambience is amazing and the service is always spot on. Our server today was Brandon who is probably one of the best servers we've had in recent memory. His knowledge of gluten-free preparation, the menu, and the intricacies of the food preparation was amazing. Great personality, friendly, and just a delight. Normally I do not partake of the cocktails at the noonish hour; but, the menu has many hand-prepared from scratch cocktails that are absolutely amazing (and the ones that are so unique to this restaurant). I had the honey crisp old fashioned. They make the HCOF cocktail with the process of browning butter, mixing it with the bourbon, freezing it overnight, then gleaning the brown butter for use in the cocktail. Sounds like it would be difficult to pull this off at home, so why not leave it up to the professionals. This is all done in house. My wife had the fall harvest salad with salmon as a protein topper. She said it was absolutely amazing and she was definitely a member of the clean plate club. You will notice from the menu, so many items are listed as GF. I had the cashew chicken sandwich with the amazing melted Brie cheese and strawberry marmalade topper. What an inventive combination of flavors and textures and cooked perfectly. I also had the Irish whiskey onion soup as it is a staple in this restaurant which has offered it for 27 years of their existence. Remember, no salt required for the IWOS. All components of the soup are made from scratch in-house, including the fried onions, the bread, and the soup. All the items we received were absolutely delicious and the pace of service was absolutely perfect as well. Our hats are off to Brandon who was absolutely amazing and made it a memorable visit. We'll certainly be back soon."
