"I would like to preface that this is me and my partner 's first time here at Baldamar and this will definitely not be our last! Definitely book ahead of time because it gets super packed. Food it was top notch! Definitely lives up to the upscale aesthetic that it upholds. The food came out in a timely manner. The calamari had so much flavor with the red peppers added a nice kick to the sweet and savory sauce that came with it. The chimichurri shrimp was amazing! Just like the calamari, it had so much flavor and different spices that balanced each other out. My partner was a huge fan of the street corn. In his own words, it 's probably the best street corn I 've had . The prime rib eye is worth the price! The seasoning on it was light and it didn 't not overpower the natural flavor coming from the meat itself. I enjoyed it very much. My partner loved his Wagouda burger and said that he savored every bite. Drinks were great! Not a surprise there. Service our host was phenomenal!!! We 're going to gate keep them because they 're definitely our #1 favorite host! With the result of how the night went, they were so attentive. Scratch that, they were attentive before then. The way that they welcomed us and took their time to explain each dish we were curious about despite how jam packed the place was. We felt so welcomed and assured, not rushed at all. They were accommodating, kind, generous, a great conversation starter, attentive, hilarious, super chill. The whole we were there, they kept conversations really light and positive despite how the night turned out. At one point, it didn 't even feel like our host was our host, it felt like they were our friend! All of this to say, whatever you 've heard or seen about Baldamar, don 't let that stop you from experiencing amazing food and even more amazing service."
