"Our service was wonderful. I felt so bad for our server. She was running all over to take care of people. They must of been short staffed. Our drinks and appetizers were really good and I’m glad we ordered doubles of everything because our food didn’t come for over an hour and they were out of what I had ordered. Why not tell your server this immediately so that I could order something different instead of waiting until delivering our party’s food. They comp my meal and I ordered something else but it was horrible. The other my husband and our neighbors ordered fettuccini and ziti dishes but both were served with spiral noodles. All three of them said their meals were bland with hardly any meat and mostly noodles, have eaten here several times and NEVER experienced anything like this before."

"We arrived 1 hour early and sat at the bar to enjoy a few cocktails. The cocktails well great. Everything started to go down hill from the moment we were seated. There was another couple joining us for dinner. We ordered another round of drinks. Those came but took some time. Eventually we were given an opportunity to order. We all ordered. I had the burger. The wife had halibut. My buddy had prime rib and his wife had the pork belly and scallops. Some time had passed before we got our meal. About 30 min. Meantime I had to buss the table myself to rid of the cocktails. A gentlemen which I forgot him noticed. He came and refilled our waters and asked if we needed anything. I replied we’re fine we are just waiting for our meal. the gentleman was from the bar area. Our meals eventually came BUT our friends meals did not come. So we were sitting and waiting and after 12 min my friend flagged the host walking by. Sh found our server and sent her over. She said she would check on the remaining food. She came back about a min later and said something happened and their order didn’t go through and they are making it now. Another 14 min the remaining food came and we began to eat. By that time our meals were cold. Which I can deal with no biggie. However my wife’s halibut seemed under cooked and really fishy. The beans that were served with it were almost inedible. Perhaps they were going for a Al dente style but missed the mark. My burger was fine the fries were the star of the show. My buddy liked his prime rib and his wife was OK with her dish. Her scallops were under cooked. After $98 bucks at the bar plus a few more cocktails at the table and dinner we were at about $405 ish into this. Night. We often go out and we were excited to try a this new place. Will we return?? Perhaps if someone reaches out to me to make this might we will. "This is my first review I’ve ever left for a place. If not first then 2nd. I’m 32. Me and my GF ordered through grub hub. It was AMAZING. I’ve used Grubhub/door dash since they released and this place is easily the best I’ve ever had. Not a close call either this place blows everywhere else away. Definitely try this place and you won’t be disappointed. So fresh and very flavorful. The cheesecake was great too. Might be getting it again tomorrow lol."

"Shorty's has the charming vibe of a friendly neighborhood tavern that I absolutely adore! The service is consistently excellent, and they offer the coldest beer in town with a fantastic selection. The staff and management are always welcoming. They have daily food and drink specials, with many craft beers priced at just $3.50 each—much cheaper than the $5 you’ll find at most places. Their bucket specials are always chilled, and they serve their beers in frosted pint glasses, making it a paradise for beer lovers! A few months ago, they updated the flooring, and it looks incredible. I also really enjoy the outdoor deck that overlooks Dixie Hwy, perfect for nice weather, and they have patio heaters for the cooler days. The food is not only very good but also very reasonably priced; just today, they had a $4 burger and fries special! It’s not fancy or pretentious; it’s just a fun, hometown bar, which is exactly what I’m looking for."

"Loved the old Georges downtown. I'm so happy to see one out south now. The Gyro's are always delish, but the last few times, the fries have been soggy and not very warm. Also, the counter was wet and had a pungent aroma of cleaning supplies. Not a bad thing really, glad they have a clean establishment, but it detracted from my overall experience due to the smell. Also had to ring the bell 3 or 4 times before being helped."

"Our first visit and so close to home. Maybe 20 minutes. Fast and friendly service!!!! Great atmosphere. It was like being in an old western bar, but with class!!!My husband had 1/2 rack of ribs. Fall off the bone good and cole slaw was a generous serving and very good.I had the brisket sandwich with pineapple BBQ sauce. Delicious sauce, we had to take a bottle to go and we will try it with chicken on the grill. I also had a $5 side salad. It was much more than a side salad with eggs, tomatoes, cucumber and croutons.We will be back."

"Beautiful relaxed atmosphere with seating both inside and outside with a wood burning fireplace outdoors to keep the cold away. Your menu has a nice selection and I would recommend its variety of different flavored chicken wings. They have a separate space for games and games. On Fridays they offer a variety of everything you eat deep fried fish. They serve alcohol and it is a suitable family restaurant for the children. Have fun."

"During a busy lunch hour our service was very polite and I could say my waiter worked hard to ensure that all the tables he was responsible were satisfied. My friend and I shared a wonderful appetizer the egg rolls du Jour were a honey/Siracha chicken combo. They had a little more sauce, but as a whole amazing! Our lunches were right, my friend had the meat she really loved, and I had the 1/2 sandwich of the day (Roast beef and provolone with a kind of delicious sauce) and a house salad. The salad was full and green and had many fresh products. They also have quality ranch . Overall we were in and out in a little over an hour and it was very full and delicious at a really good price for the quality of food and service we received! I'm back! "Came recommended from a wedding venue for their catering. So we swung in tonight to do a little taste test. First the folks running this place are great! Ultra friendly and bonus for standing strong and closing on Sundays where their employees don't have to miss church. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork take your pick. However best bite of the night was bbq beans. Pork was a mild smoke, little less than I usually want, but good. Brisket was well seasoned with choice of tip or flat. Ribs were perfectly cooked where each bite came off the bone cleanly without completely falling off."

"This week's restaurant review.Tonight we visited the, LC Tap House, Not the the other tap house in Chicago. This is a locally owned establishment located here in Lake City Michigan. This is a place Crystal Miller had once again said, I need to get you there. Friday is laundry day, library day, shopping day and DATE DAY?? talk about killing two birds with one stone and helping her with all those things, well let's just say I call it a win win for the both of us! Anyways, we finally made it to this great pub and grill. The decor was more UpTo date on the inside than the outside but actually that was part of the initial draw for me and once we walked in it felt like going out on a date after the mundane. The atmosphere had a upscale wearhouse dining experience feel with the local cowboys and contractors sitting at the bar talking about their week. PRO TIP: The menu has a nice variety but not an overwhelming selection WHICH tells me it's probably going to be fresh (fresher) hopefully and wherever cowboys contractors eat is a good place to start. We started with, Calamari. Absolutely delicious! Not over cooked, light crispy batter and well seasoned with a fresh squeeze of lemon and freshly made cocktail sauce was a great way to get things going. Ok, good start let's try one of the salads Crystal has told me were so good and something she hadn't tried here yet but is one of her favorites, The Patty Melt, cooked medium. I chose the Cobb. Both simple, basic, universal enough. Well, though nothing over the top, both were top notch worthy. The burger is locally raised and sourced, I can't speak for the rest of the ingredients other than they were fresh, crispy, plentiful and the way they were prepared and presented made me feel not only like I received what was I was anticipating what I was paying for but the, Chef's cared about preparing it for me even though we never met. I'm looking forward to revisiting this place and seeing what else they have in store and Crystal, well you're 5 for 5 on choosing great places for laundry library date day.
