"If you’re in search of a cozy place to enjoy your coffee, tea, or pastries while you read, write, or chat, this café is the ideal choice, and that’s why I love it. They serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and a limited selection of pastries (just a heads up: there’s no wine, despite what their website and outside signs might indicate). I lean towards tea, especially their iced hibiscus tea, which I find delightful. The music is usually mid-tempo and varied, played at a nice volume that’s never overpowering.
Having lived in the area for a while, I've stopped by a couple of times, but what truly caught my attention recently is their new sushi menu available in the café (Monday to Saturday, 3 PM to 9 PM, as of this review). As a sushi lover, I couldn’t resist trying it! Prepared by Asa, the limited menu offers fresh rolls, sashimi, and donburi bowls. In fact, I returned for sushi four times last month! The ingredients are fresh, the prices are reasonable, and everything has that homemade feel that’s just perfect. I’ve tried several dishes, including the California Kani, Avocado, and Salmon Avocado rolls, as well as the Donburi bowls, and I’ve loved every single one!
The café has a unique charm, is very cozy, and the staff is friendly. If you need Wi-Fi and prefer a chain café, you might want to go next door. However, if you’re looking for genuine relaxation in a distinctive atmosphere, come enjoy the vibes at Taszo and be sure to tip your servers generously. I can’t wait to be a loyal customer for many years to come!"
