"Wishbone started in the West Loop long, long before most other places that exist in the area today, and they used to have other locations. Their current West Loop location is newer and it's now the only one. This Cajun inspired restaurant has greatbreakfast dishes like a Jambalaya Omelet and Crunchy French Toast (that is crunchy and delicious). Sides and a corn muffin comewith most dishes and you've got a choice of cheesy grits, collard greens, and a number of other southern style sides. There's afull bar and a fun, mostly fruity, specialty drink list. They keep the coffee coming, service has always been good, and the menuoffers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only downside is that the dining room is pretty noisy and often has large groups."

"Last night was an extraordinary experience! Chef Marco (also owner) has taken this long standing establishment to the next level of dining! First of all Chef Marco came over to our table and welcomed us back. We felt so special and opened to the new adventure instead of holding onto the past that one of our favorite old restaurants… was gone for good and nothing could come close to the old Marco Polo Ristorante. With Chef Marco’s generosity and confidence directing us to some of the wonderful dishes on the menu, assuring us we were in good hands, especially for one of our guests (who has food allergies). He guided us to some excellent choices then turned us over to his wonderful wait staff that gave us a memorable time. We ate, we drank, we laughed, sharing wonderful memories with old friends! "My dad has been visiting this restaurant often lately, so I decided to join him for dinner on Saturday, October 2nd. There were plenty of options on the menu, and everything was reasonably priced. The portions were generous—I couldn’t finish everything, but that’s not just because I had brunch earlier. Our server was friendly and attentive. However, my side of okra didn't arrive with my order of calabash shrimp and grilled flounder. She apologized and explained that it was still cooking, promising to bring it out as soon as it was ready. I’m sure I’ve driven past this place countless times over the years, but this was my first visit. It definitely won't be my last!"

"All I can say is: Can't wait to come back! Two of us dined here on a Sat afternoon. My first visit at this Houston location, but I've been to one in Phoenix Dallas. Ample parking, nice atmosphere and menu prices are reasonable. Our server, Mr. Michael L. was AMAZING! He was cheerful courteous as he helped with menu suggestions. He got every detail of our order accurate and Michael's calm demeanor and attention to detail made the already delicious meal even better!!! So impressed with his service that I went thru the trouble of calling the restaurant so they would know I am referencing him in this review! Now let's talk about the food. Y'all gotta hit this place up soon! Our appetizer the shrimp crawfish fondeaux woke up every one of my tastebubs simply delicious! My tall glass of Strawberry Mangeaux Tango frozen margarita was loaded with flavor enough to satisfy my drink appetite! Also loved the catfish with red beans and rice! Try the seafood platter, it's so good, especially the fried osters! The baked potato is tasty huge (as you can see in my pics). Grits are good (seasoned with sausage, corn butter). Portions were satisfying plenty left to put take home. Overall everything was great. Certainly an experience worthy of 5 stars!"

"During our time in Milwaukee for a convention, we discovered that Pier 106 was the sole seafood restaurant in the area and decided to give it a shot. Situated right on the Riverwalk, it offers a great location, especially for those who prefer dining outdoors (although we opted to sit inside). We were pleased with the excellent service and found our meal to be enjoyable. We started off with an appetizer of mussels and clams, served with a white sauce that reminded me of New England clam chowder - a pleasant surprise that we found to be delicious. For our main dishes, I ordered the stuffed salmon while my husband opted for the ahi tuna - both dishes were very tasty. Overall, I would recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee."

"This restaurant offered surprisingly delicious food, but I wasn't a fan of how they made a chocolate shake by simply adding chocolate syrup to vanilla ice cream, which was clearly the case here. The menu was extensive, making it difficult for me to decide what to order. The decor was charming, fitting the theme of a 50s diner, although the country music playing over the speakers didn't quite match the atmosphere they were trying to create. One thing to note is that the restroom is located on the gas station side, which you have to access separately. When I visited, all the blinds were closed, making the place feel a bit too dim. While they could improve on cleanliness, I will definitely return for the excellent food—just avoid the iced tea. It’s best to skip that."

"This place just keeps getting better. Stop in for the great craft cocktails and stay for dinner, a burger, or the pizza. The service is always friendly and the food is always great. "Leatherby's is the perfect place for a special occasion or before attending an event at the Segerstrom Center or South Coast Repertory. Our server was exceptional and went out of his way to make sure everything was exactly to our liking without hovering. The food is wonderful but I wish the starters were a little less expensive or that they had a small plates menu so we could try more items or come more often, but with their location, they can charge what they want, although there were very few diners there on Friday night and I think it can only be due to the prices as the service and chef creations are fabulous"

"We usually love this restaurant, however, went there yesterday to celebrate our anniversary and ordered our favorite dish which is the cod imperial. When the plates arrived, the cod was almost blackened with seasoning which has never happened before, we asked the manager what they could to to correct it and she had them make another which meant we sat another 20 min.. when this dish came back, there was very little imperial on the top, it was so disappointing. We will never go back on a Monday."

"I came in to order some appetizers before my main. I ordered six oysters and shrimp cocktail. When the appetizers arrived The shrimp was super slimy that it left goo and residue on my fingers. The oysters smelled and had foam on top of them and were stuck to the shell. I am never one to not pay for my food . so I asked for my check and discreetly put the food aside. The bartender which mind you was absolutely amazing her name is Kristy. Asked me about my food and why I was not eating it I told her I still wanted to pay for it she said absolutely no and went to the back to help get it addressed and then taken care of. The manager ended up coming out to me. Told me I must not know about eating oysters, shined a flashlight on me and then proceeded to shine a flashlight onto the oysters while tapping them with a knife and telling me that I did not see foam but I was looking at the shell while he was tapping it. Whether or not I have experience in eating oysters(mind you I do) that entire experience was extremely demeaning, disrespectful, and very off-putting. I’m not sure who this manager is but I hope he reads this and thinks definitely how he treats customers. I want to add one last note that again the bartender was absolutely amazing and I’m thankful she was there"

"It's a health food store? It's a restaurant that meat eaters, health freaks, and vegans can all enjoy? In Houston, no less? I love the place walk in, go to the left, stock up on healthy, vegetarian, vegan, macrobiotic, and/or organic fare. They sell food, herbs, drinks, snacks, health beauty products supplements in a compact but easy to navigate shop. Go to the right, and hit the restaurant. The offerings vary from vegan, to organic, locally grown meat meals. As a vegetarian, I am partial to the seasonal gazpacho soup, the vegetarian lasagna (can also be made vegan with a simple request) and the hummingbird food cake. I have brought many a meat eater/non-believer to eat here and have yet to have any one leave hungry or dissatisfied. It feels homey like you're hanging out in your quirky aunt's farmhouse. The atmosphere is relaxed, and prices are reasonable for the area. (Memorial HS is within walking distance One of my favorite go-to restaurants the food never fails to please. I've been eating there often since 2001 and have never had a bad experience."

"Run don’t walk!! Our experience here was 11/10! Our server Julio was attentive, kind, and charismatic. Alex put on a show working the kitchen around our view at the Chef’s counter, and everything from the food to the drinks was executed perfectly. We can’t recommend this restaurant enough! "C&S Oyster Bar has been a go-to restaurant, especially for in-town guests. The seafood is always fantastic and super fresh, the service is second to none, and the overall vibe is really cool. Until this visit which was loud, riddled with flying with bugs, marginal food, and hot. I want to give the restaurant grace that perhaps something was off, and they still hold themselves to the high standards that I've known them for. But I had to write this review because I was extremely disappointed. If I had not had great experiences in the past, I would not go back again. The service was the only positive experience. Changing my reservation to a later time and larger party went seamlessly. Pierce was fantastic as our server. Everything else was terrible. The bar was INCREDIBLY loud. It was hard for our server to hear us place our orders. We could not hear one another to have a conversation at the table because of the boisterous laughter and shouting from the bar. There were big bugs (like giant gnats) flying around our table the entire night. If we were outside, it would still have been a nuisance but understandable. Speaking of outside, it was cooler outside (after the rain storm) than it was in the restaurant! The heat in Atlanta in July has been overbearing- I am not sure if the thermostat was set extra high to conserve energy, or if the AC wasn't working. The food was marginal at best. I've come to expect a great meal here. The salads had wilted lettuce. The steak was fine, but not flavorful. The seafood wasn't fresh, or prepared poorly. The fried shrimp, was undercooked under the salty and heavy batter- almost like outside browned too fast. The noise, bugs and heat made this a bad experience. The food was underwhelming, but not awful. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT."
