"An interesting place. We had the spring rolls and pancakes as starters. The spring rolls had great taste but they were dripping oil, as were the pancakes. I had the Korean stir fry and fried rice, and my partner had ramen. All the ingredients were fresh; the problem was an almost complete lack of taste and the fried rice was a gray, indistinguishable mass. I would go back to explore the small plates but my partner certainly wouldn't. I also didn't get the background music--hiphop, I think. I strange choice. On the positive side GREAT service and a very quick kitchen. Lest you think I came with American expectations, I've lived in Asia--Taiwan, the Philippines, and Okinawa--both as a child and adult."

"We went on a weekday, lunchtime. Ms. Sharon was our waitress and had amazing customer service and was very attentive. We ordered a plethora of items, all of which were flavorful and cooked as we specified. We had the clams, nigiri , vegetable spring rolls, crab Rangoon, and chicken and steak hibachi. Everything was delicious- loved the clams! We will definitely be back! Service: Dine in"

"Many vegan options, our waiter was very helpful and knowledge about what to order. I asked for the yellow curry, and he immediately warned me that this cannot be made vegan as it uses fish as an aroma. So, I ordered the red curry with vegetables and tofu and my mother ordered the green curry with vegetables and tofu that are both safe vegan. The flavors were so delicious, the tofu was great, and the vegetables were great. I loved everything about the red curry. The green curry was also good, but I liked my order better. Also the ambience of the restaurant is very quiet, relaxing, and the restaurant seems clean and well maintained."

"Good but pricey. Spices is a local favorite of mine. There aren't many sushi options in the area (Van Ness) so Spices certainly satisfies my sushi craving whenever I need one. The quality of the food at the restaurant and for takeout is usually quite good. My only criticism would be that it tends to be a little pricey. Then again that hasn't stopped me from ordering from there yet! <br/ <br/ Personal Favorites: <br/ <br/ Crabmeat Wonton, Grilled Chicken Satay, Salmon Skin Scallion"

"Later, I ordered my favorite dish, the Siam River Roll, which I had asked for with an extra item. However, as I started eating, I realized there was something in the roll that definitely shouldn't have been there—plastic! The waiter, who seemed to be new, apologized and took the plate back to the kitchen, where I could see the chefs discussing the issue amongst themselves. While I was offered a replacement, I was already feeling quite disheartened by that point. The waiter informed the manager about the situation, but she never came over to address my concerns. I felt overlooked as a loyal patron of this restaurant. After waiting a while, I decided to leave. On a side note, the white couch along the wall desperately needs cleaning; it looks quite dingy now, whereas it used to be one of the highlights of the restaurant's decor."

"I have mixed feelings about their dishes. Some of their dishes like the pad see ew and tom yum weren't so bad. Though it'd be nice to see some other ingredients in the former other than just noodles, broccoli and your choice of protein. The noodles were also really chopped up and short for some reason. We also ordered this stir fry dish where you get to choose your sauce and protein, but it doesn't tell you what else is part of the dish. I was very disappointed by this one. Not only was the taste not so impressive, but the portion was small and it didn't look that enticing. Not sure if I'd like to try their other dishes in the future."

"We stopped in for lunch on our drive to tour the coast with the parent in the back seat. This place as great because it offered something for everyone. The sushi was fresh, the tempura was light, the thai was spicy hot as ordered, and the sweet and sour was sweet and sour! All was nicely done, fast, and efficient. Prices were good too"

"Amarin offers a light, bright style of Thai cooking, quite different from the creamy sauces at most area Thai restaurants. This style calls for very fresh protein, vegetables and herbs, as the sauce cannot cover up ingredients that are less than perfect. The curries are fresh, with a clean, light sauce. Each dish is prepared fresh and arrived hot from the wok.The dining room is slightly below street level, nicely presented. The table is well presented, and the room is decorated with interesting Thai artworks.Service is excellent. Our server paid just the right amount of attention and was a pleasant and charming person. The restaurant is on a busy corner but there is lots of parking at the building."

"My experience was for pickup through ordering online. The order was made easily with pictures displayed for a majority of the food items which were relatively accurate. The pickup time was unfortunately incorrect stating it would be ready in 15 minutes but it took 25-30 minutes having arrived and waited a bit longer. The smoked salmon sashimi had a bone within it I almost swallowed and the overall taste was ordinary. I was hoping for better, but it is not the worst. I would not say it was worth the price."

"The chicken wings were excellent. I ordered the Raymond dish, which was good, though I wished it had a bit more flavor and a different type of noodle. However, it was fresh and served hot. The iced tea was freshly brewed and very refreshing, and I also had a steak and cheese egg roll that was outstanding. Overall, I would give it a 10 out of 10, and I will definitely be back."

"We just moved to Westminster, CO. It was our first ever visit to Tasty Garden in an attempt to find a good Asian cuisine restaurant with vegan options that could replace our favorite one in Omaha, NE. This place didn 't disappoint! It doesn 't have the nicest, cleanest looking atmosphere or exterior building, but it 's food sure makes up for it. First, I 'll point out that the woman informed us that they use eggs in the breading for their mock meats. So neither the Vegetarian Chicken or the veg-beef options are vegan. This was sad because we wanted to try their soy protein faux meats. Now I 'll move on to what we did get...we ordered Kung Pao Tofu and Sesame Tofu with a side order of Spring Rolls. Both of the tofu dishes were indeed TASTY! Really, they were very, very good! Kung Pao is spicy by nature, and that held up. The tofu was not breaded and the texture was perfect, pretty firm. The Sesame tofu was breaded (without eggs) and had amazing flavor. Yum! They give you more than enough food and they don 't skimp on the rice portions. The spring rolls were good (filled with lettuce, rice noodles, cilantro and wrapped in rice paper) served with a peanut sauce which was very sweet and kind of reminded me of peanut butter. Price for two entrees and Spring Rolls was $24."

"The ambiance, with its low lighting, created a romantic atmosphere, and we will definitely be returning! The food was fantastic! I found the drinks to be overly sweet, but I enjoyed the Saketini, which was great if you like strong cocktails. However, the piña colada and Mojito tasted more like simple syrup and coconut cream. Overall, it's an amazing spot if you know what to order! I recommend trying a little bit of everything."

"The King I was a delightful discovery. We had been on the lookout for a new Thai restaurant since Thai Palace in Bloomfield changed management and the food became inedible. This restaurant features a large menu filled with numerous options and enticing photos. It's a small space with plenty of off-street parking, creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere. If you bring your own beverage, they provide a complimentary ice bucket and glasses. The waitress was warm, friendly, and attentive. We ordered two soups, an appetizer, and one main dish. Each small soup is generous enough to serve two people, and after enjoying the chicken dumplings, we were too full to finish the pineapple, rice, and shrimp with yellow curry. We are eager to return for lunch, which offers smaller portion sizes. It would be wonderful if the lunch special included a complimentary small soup."

"My mom ordered the red curry with lobster, and I chose the red curry with shrimp. She picked the mild option and absolutely loved it, saying it had just the right amount of flavor. I went with the medium spice level, which was also fantastic, packed with generous portions of shrimp. There’s a great selection of appetizers to choose from. The sashimi appetizer is beautifully presented and a perfect choice for anyone who enjoys raw fish. The avocado egg rolls were equally delicious. Plus, their Thai tea is incredibly refreshing and full of flavor."

"The food was mediocre at best, but the waiting and the ambience were by far the worst part of the experience. Sat down and it took 15-20 min before we were asked if we were ready to order, and the place was basically empty. After order another 15 min went by and I noticed another customer who had been trying to get a box and the check since I arrived. Realizing how slow things were moving I asked if we could get our food to go. It then took another 30 min before my food came out. So in total it took something like an hour and change for me to order and receive one take out dish that was basically just noodles and yellow curry. Also on top of that during the entire wait the overly brightly lit restaurant had loud white noise static coming out of its speakers, until it decided halfway through to put different songs on in its open kitchen and floor that proceeded to compete with each other from either side of the restaurant. Maybe it’s better earlier in the night but I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon."

"Very cool concept; a fresh food take on Thai. The space is clean, airy and has a nice vibe. We were a little disappointed; the reviews all mention great sushi, but don 't say that sushi isn 't available at lunch. We came at lunch. Oh well, no sushi for us. The seared veggie dumplings were awesome. I didn 't care if they had meat or not; they were very fresh tasting and delicious. The shrimp rangoons were a great take on the Chinese food classic; however, they were super hot (temp-wise) and a bit tongue burning. Once cooled, they were excellent. The Tom kha gai was a huge bowl of soup; but, again, served at a crazy high temperature. It took 5 mins before we could approach it. Once cool, all it needed was a little lime to make it perfect. The standard Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp was great. Big portion, fresh ingredients. The crispy Pad Thai replaced the rice noodles with fried wonton crisps. A very neat take on the dish; the portion was way too big to finish. They do not bring out the standard trio of Thai spices when you ask; they bring the chef/owner 's proprietary sauce that was a take on standard thai chili sauce. I would have appreciated an option to amp up the spice with the traditional spice tray. Overall, a good lunch at a good price. Recommended for thai food."
