"I have always loved this place! This post is about my recent visit. I was part of a group of 3 and we all ordered different things. I got the Taiwanese spicy with lamb T-Rex. The broth was really good if you are into spicy broth. I have tried spicy miso, seafood essence and Thai green curry the past which are equally good. The reasons I am giving a 4 stars and not 5 are following: They charge extra for the egg… Which end up being a $1.25 more. I understand that due to inflation you have to cut down and make money where you can. But this is a bit unreasonable. Other thing is that they really cut down on the amount of vegetables offered if you get T-Rex. I felt like they highly cut down on it. Last time I was there was last November and this wasn’t the case. However, I would still come back because the broths are really really good."

"Loco Ono is the new name for this restaurant, and I visited for the first time on February 3, 2021. The atmosphere was very clean and inviting. The menu was straightforward, showcasing the usual build-your-own poke options alongside marinated poke available by the half pound or pound. They also offered a diverse selection of hot dishes. We decided on half-pound servings of their house ahi poke and kimchi tako. As for the hot items, we tried the Keiki Garlic Chicken, regular Roast Pork, Garlic Shrimp, Mochiko Chicken, and fries with gravy."

"So ono! I don’t often take the time to leave a review, but this was so good, I just had to give recognition. My wife and I are moving cross-country from the Midwest to California. After a long day of driving from Salt Lake City, we arrived in the Reno area. I ordered a combo with teri chicken and mochiko chicken, both of which were excellent. The mochiko chicken was especially good- crunchy and flavorful. The rice and mac salad were on point. I also got a side of kimchi, which was good and authentic (I am picky, being part Korean). My wife got a poke bowl, which was very fresh and tasty. The musubi was done correctly, and was great.Overall, the food compared very favorably to local grindz we have enjoyed in the islands. It really hit the spot and lifted our spirits in the midst of a long journey. I highly recommend this place for anyone in the mood for Hawaiian! So ono! Thanks! ?"
