"I had family in town and we were trying find a non-chain restaurant to take them to. We were extremely encouraged by the reviews of this restaurant, so we decided to try it out. When we arrived, I was really impressed by the patio area. The interior was interesting, although it was really dark. We were seated right away, but service was pretty slow throughout the entire visit. I ordered the margarita chicken, because I liked all of the ingredients. I was surprised to find out that it had no flavor. Even the cheese didn't improve it. The rice was adequate, but the steamed vegetables were good. My wife got shrimp tacos. She ate 2 of the 3 tacos, but really didn't like them enough to eat the 3rd one. My dad ordered a medium sirloin steak, which came out ****** and flavorless. He also commented that the cut wasn't very good. They did offer to take it back, but we were all just turned off at that point and really didn't want wait there anymore. He left half of his food on his plate, because he didn't enjoy it. My daughter got the kids pasta, which was really only noodles and sauce. Again, it was pretty bland and unimpressive. I'm not sure why our experience varied so much more than all of these other people that left reviews, but I can say with certainty that we will not be eating here in the future."
