"Best Wings Ever, End of Story. The funniest thing about Wings 'n Things is that every single negative comment on here is one of the reasons this place is the best. I 'm going to go ahead and break it down, for those who don 't understand...<br/ <br/ 1. 'Dry, meatless wings '... Um, I think not. This is what happens when wings are served crispy and fresh. BREADING ON WINGS IS NEVER ALLOWED. These wings are true; deep-fried to crispy perfection.<br/ <br/ 2. 'Served in a pile of grease... ' Yeah, that isn 't 'grease ', partner... that 's absolutely delicious, spicy, oily, incredible Wings 'n Things flavor sauce. You should be BEGGING them for more.<br/ <br/ 3. Yeah, the service sucks. THE FOOD IS WORTH IT. Don 't even bother ordering anything else off of their menu, this is a wing joint... enjoy it.<br/ <br/ The real point of this place is that they deep-fry their wings unbreaded (IE, the RIGHT way) and dip them in their delicious (though greasy) sauce. If you want to truly enjoy this place, don 't let the wings sit for more than ten minutes before eating them. THEY WILL BE SOGGY, SUCH IS THE NATURE OFA DEEP-FRIED SAUCED WING.<br/ <br/ So if you want the best wings in the entire world... nay, the universe... <br/ <br/ 1. Order take-out, order the extra-hot.<br/ 2. Buy your favorite beer.<br/ 3. Rush to your FAVORITE place in town and gorge yourself on these beautiful wings.<br/ 4. Lapse into a food coma the likes of which have never been seen.<br/ <br/ The only thing this place needs is a liquor license. Case closed."

"I am a BBQ fanatic. I seek out good BBQ in every city I visit. I grew up in Omaha and worked in North Omaha as a police officer in the 1980's. We are visiting relatives for a few weeks and someone at a bible study recommended Jim's to me a couple days ago. Today we stopped there and ordered $60 worth of food. A full rack of ribs, beans, a rib tip sandwich and some chili cheese fries. On a scale of 1-10, I'm giving Jim's a 1. We would have been better off pulling into McDonalds for a couple Big Mac's. The ribs were barely cooked. I had to fight to get the meat off the bones. Badly undercooked, yet dry and tuff as shoe leather. Same with the rib tips. The meat was difficult to chew and dry. The beans tasted like they came out of a can and had zero meat in them as we hoped. My wife ordered the chili cheese fries by mistake and I refused to even try them. I have eaten beef brisket, pork ribs, beef ribs and sausage that is a perfect 10 out of ten. I know what great BBQ looks and tastes like. I've eaten at most of the great BBQ restaurants in Hill Country outside of Austin, as well as most of the great BBQ restaurants in Austin. When we return to Phoenix in November, we will eat at Little Miss BBQ, which was once the second highest rated restaurant on Yelp, with over 200 5-star reviews. Often times, people want so badly to support their local BBQ restaurant, they give 3 and 4 star reviews to a product that is undeserving. It is also possible that they have never experienced truly magnificent BBQ, smoked for exactly the correct amount of time and not slathered with sauce to hide how dry it is. We will continue to visit Omaha each fall and seek out good BBQ. We will not return to Jim's and I feel it is important to warn others who cherish good BBQ, to avoid Jim's and keep searching for a BBQ restaurant where the owner is present and the meat is properly smoked and not pulled out of the smoker two hours early and served."

"We were in the area and we were hungry. This was the first time that we have been in Indiana well at least since I was a teenager so we didn't know where to go for food. Yelp led us to here and I'm glad it did. It was a warm day and we found meter parking right outside the restaurant. We saw that they had some outdoor seating so we asked to seat outside. It was getting cloudy out and it started to rain so we had to move inside. Too bad because it was nice outside. Their beer selection wasn't that great on this day. The first two beers that we ordered on their menu were out. Our waitress wasn't too sure what they had. I ended up just ordering a IC Lite. Looking over the menu the burgers looked good. I went with the Twisted Pig Burger with fries. The Women's World Cup was on so we were watching that as we waited for our food. The place is a good hangout I think. It's a college town and I'm sure it's really hopping in here on the weekends and nights. Our food came out and my burger looked great. The fries had their special seasoning with a touch of cinnamon and it was one of the best seasonings on fries I have ever tasted. My burger was very memorable too. Its a burger with pulled pork, spirit hickory whisky bbq sauce, provolone, and cinnamon sugared bacon. It was really good. Overall we had a good experience here and if we are back in town I would come back and get the same thing. The beer this day was average because they were out but we had a good time still."
