"A friend and I just finished doing the Macedonia Brook Loop Trail (highly recommend! and we were ravenous with hunger! We totally lost track of time and found ourselves stuck in that window of time between lunch and dinner that’s a big ? In regards to the kitchen being open or not. Clearly they were between lunch and dinner service and the place was empty aside from a patron sitting at the bar. As soon as an employee noticed us they were very pleasant and didn’t blink an eye inviting us to chose a table of our liking. No sooner did we break the ice with the server in regaling then with our hiking travails and asserting how hungry we were it seemed that ice water was already being poured into pristine glasses! We quickly put in an order, including a freshly made table side Cesar salad for 2 (highly recommend ! Everything came out quickly, cooked just right and well presented! I love the rustic ambience of this place! Rustic yet complimented with white linen table compliments! Thank you for greeting us with such warmth and for the wonderful food and service!
