"**Service: 1.5/10** Our server earned a couple of points for being decent and checking on us frequently. However, when I mentioned it was our first visit and asked for dish recommendations, he chuckled and replied, "Um, I don’t know. The sushi girl and sushi boy rolls are popular." This was a major red flag—I really wish we had left right then. He seemed indifferent, but honestly, I can’t blame him for not wanting to represent this place. Two other young women didn’t even acknowledge us when they brought our food; one even returned to confirm our order with a monotone voice and expressionless face. **Food: 1/10** I’ll give one point for the fresh edamame, but it was drenched in sweet chili oil. The fried gyoza appeared to be frozen before being over-deep-fried—honestly, they tasted like the scraps left at the bottom of a fast-food basket, way too greasy and likely to upset your stomach. We then regrettably ordered the crunchy roll and sushi girl roll. My husband found a shrimp tail hidden in his last bite of the crunchy roll, which he had to discreetly spit out at the table (he ended up throwing up the rest in a parking lot across town five minutes later... I apologize to anyone who witnessed that). **Ginger and Wasabi: 0/10** This deserves its own mention because I’ve never seen anything like it before. Every table had a set of two jars that typically hold chili oil or soy sauce in other restaurants, but here they were filled with stale, fake, pink-dyed ginger and old wasabi. This not only reflects lazy service, but it’s also just gross. Take this information as you will. I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share this experience."
