"Absolutely fantastic! After reading a mix of reviews about Nyammings Fusion Bistro, I decided to give it a try, hoping to satisfy my Caribbean cravings, and I'm thrilled to say it did not disappoint. Food: The oxtail dish was simply outstanding—5 out of 5! I even called the chef over to share my thoughts, telling him that the flavors were so incredible they should be considered a crime. He laughed and we exchanged a fist bump! The oxtails were rich in flavor, and the gravy was the perfect finishing touch. The cabbage was tasty, and the plantains were exceptionally fresh and sweet, complementing the meal beautifully. I just wish I had received more than two plantains with my dish. The crispy edges were a delightful addition. Having recently visited Jamaica, I honestly didn't expect to find the same quality of food back in the U.S., but this place proved me wrong. I truly hope they maintain this level of consistency because I plan to return. On another note, I took a moment to check how much oxtail I received for the price (see photos). In my experience, the portion was quite generous, contrary to some reviews I've seen about smaller servings. I hope that continues on my next visit. Customer service was warm and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The front of the bistro was clean, though I was a bit put off by a few dead crickets in the bathroom, which might need more frequent attention. I would have thought twice had I not been in a hurry. Anyway, it's your turn to give this place a shot. Enjoy!"

"My girlfriend and I went there on 3/15/2014. We ordered two coffees and we 're looking at the menu. There was about three small packets of sugar at the table so we asked the waitress could we have some sugar. She brought us a glass sugar dispenser with about 1/4 of an inch of sugar in it. I told her that we needed some more but we never got any. There was enough sugar for one cup. The coffee looked like it came from the bottom of the pot. We were dumbfounded as to why we were being treated so poorly, so we decided to get up and leave. On our way out the owner and waitress ask what the problem was. I told them that we couldn 't get sugar. The waitress said that she had brought us some sugar. I told her that the dispenser was practically empty and no more was brought to us. We didn 't get ugly or rude and just proceeded out the door. To my surprise the owner followed us outside of the restaurant and accused us of being rude to his staff. I stopped and turned around and walk back towards the owner to discuss the matter with him. He was making threatening remarks about me walking up to him. We had a few words and at that point the owner threatened to break my hip. He said I 'll break your hip old man ! At that point my girlfriend told him that he was being recorded. On hearing that he stopped his threats and went back in the restaurant. If I had recorded the incident, I could have easily had him arrested. I simply could not believe what had just happened. I had to leave one star to be able to put in the comment, but that was one star too many. My girlfriend is black and I think that racism was involved in this. I 'm 63 years old and never in my life, have I had this happen to me. Looking back at the incident and the fact that we were brought a container of sugar that was practically empty, and the way the owner came outside cussing at us and telling us that we were rude to his staff, made me come to the conclusion that he is a racist and did not want us in his restaurant. There were no other reason for his obnoxious behavior."
