"we often eat in the frontier tavern. after a week long day game to confirm my reservation, we arrived and we sat. this is when we find out that the menu has changed significantly. selection is limited and many removed. carb cake, fish and chips, and tweeper rings to name some. 5 of the 7 in our party had planned to order a crabcake. the chicken stew at $32 was very blah. a few carrot cuts, a piece of carrot and a ring of a twee. a chicken and pig bell sandwich without jalapenos came with jalapenos and a pig bell that was so hard that it could not chew! the mushroom soup was a pure, as thick it was more of a bath with an unpleasant texture. unnecessary to say our $250 dinner was not the birthday party we had introduced. our waiter was in order. he did his work, but the right training should include bringing a manager to a table when it was clear that we were less than satisfied. after so many pleasant meeting in the springs tavern I am sad to have such a disappointing one."
