"I called the restaurant asking about pick up and the lady who answered, Kim, made me feel foolish for calling the wrong number. When I called back to ask why she was not having a good day and why she hung up on me, she hung up on me again. I called a third time to inquire why I was being treated poorly at Hy-Vee, where there is normally good customer service. This time, Conner answered. I asked Conner if it was acceptable for Hy-Vee employees to hang up on customers, but he refused to answer without more details. I assured him I had not used foul language with Kim. It seems like Kim just woke up on the wrong side of the bed. It is always disappointing when customer service does not understand that the customer is always right. Employees should not take out their bad day on customers; they should take a sick day if needed and come back refreshed. Kim and Conner put their pride before the needs of a customer and did not do their job properly. I believe they need a day off to appreciate their company and learn how to treat customers with respect. I will not be returning to this location. West Lakes Hy-Vee provides a much better shopping experience. Thank you for reading."
