"We ordered a variety of items: Pakoras, Tadka Dal, Aloo Parantha, Makki Di Roti, Vegetable Biryani (medium spicy), Chana Masala, and the Veg n Chaat specialty. Everything was delicious, and the portion sizes were quite generous. Despite dining with four people, we ended up with plenty of leftovers. I particularly enjoyed the Pakoras, which had a light and crisp texture thanks to the seasoned cauliflower-based breading, especially when paired with the dipping sauces. They were a definite crowd pleaser. I also have a fondness for Aloo Parantha, and this one was perfectly soft with a great balance of bread and filling—in contrast to other places where I've encountered overly stuffed ones. The Makki Di Roti was another highlight; its corn base made it an excellent choice for dipping into the various curries and salsa on our table, and it was hearty enough to share. The Vegetable Biryani was well-executed, well-spiced, and had a nice kick to it. I did accidentally bite into some bay leaves, so watch out for those, but I couldn't resist going back for seconds as I enjoyed the other dishes. The Chana Masala was a classic example of a well-made masala; I found it easy to enjoy, with the chickpeas cooked to perfection. The Tadka Dal was also enjoyable, though I don’t have specific feedback on it other than it was recommended as a vegan option. I had originally thought to order Spinach Dal, but learned it wasn’t vegan. The Veg n Chaat was definitely my favorite dish of the evening. I love coconut milk-based curries, and this one was outstanding. I would absolutely order it again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. The service was friendly, and our food came out fairly quickly, especially since we dined on a Monday night when the restaurant wasn't too crowded. The interior had an under-the-sea vibe, and they played acoustic covers of classic pop songs, giving the place a nostalgic feel. While the atmosphere was charming, I wondered if leaning into more authentic Indian music could enhance the experience. If I find myself in town again, I would definitely return, and I think that's the key takeaway. The value for the price is impressive, and there are plenty of options to accommodate a variety of dietary preferences."
