"I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant, and upon entering, we were impressed with the decor and layout. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious! We were there for Restaurant Week and enjoyed everything, including the special cocktails. However, when we received the bill, we were stunned. This was the first time we encountered such a charge in our numerous experiences dining around the city. There was an automatic gratuity added for two people, along with a 4% fee for credit card payments. They even raised the tax on top of all that! This was completely unexpected and not mentioned anywhere on the menus or paperwork. When we inquired with the staff, they claimed it was their standard practice and typical for the industry. I’m not quite sure which industry they’re referring to, but we’ve never experienced this before. Unfortunately, due to this lack of transparency and the way it was handled, we won't be returning to this restaurant. This was the most disappointing dining experience we've had."
