"We had chicken burritos and eggs Benedict, both delicious. We shared cheesecake for dessert, really big piece and also very good. The coffee was fresh and just strong enough. Nice diner in a decidedly underserved area. Great for a pitstop before or after visiting Ward Pound Ridge!"

"I stopped by around 10am, on a Friday morning. It's definitely a busy business, their food is pretty tasty. The burritos are thick, and prices are reasonable. My friend ordered a veggie skillet plate, and a side of French toast, with drinks it came out to about $50.00 for a party of two. The one thing I didn't like was that customer service wasn't very personable. The waitresses that stopped by didn't introduce themselves. One asked about what drinks we wanted, the other took our order. I ignored it figured the receipt would include their name, but it only says Cashier 1. Either way it's worth a visit."

"Placed an order for Thanksgiving wanted the chocolate chip cheese cake ended up with plain pancakes for dessert. Called the lady said they were out of cheese cake. The more I questioned her .she then said I could come pick up the chocolate chip cheese cake. I explained I had no transportation and then she said yes again they had the cheese cake but I had to pick it up. So I said thanks no transportation so good bye."

"Patty and her catering crew prepared the food for my annual 4th of July Annual family picnic and set up as well as tore down the meal setup at my home. My wife and I were totally delighted with the taste, quantity and quality of all the food. The price was extremely reasonable. Chef Tom did an outstanding job. My guest were absolutely delighted with the food and complimented spread. No doubt Patty and Tom will be doing my Holiday catering from now and onward. Thank you Chaparritas for an outstanding job. You are the greatest!"

"We were really disappointed. Waitress was awesome but we ordered take out, paid and sat down to wait for what she said wouldn't be long. They keep looking in the take out boxes like nobody knew what was in them. Then we literally seen food going out to people who came in after us and we waited way too long for our order. We didn't think coney dogs, fries and breakfast took over 30 minutes so we asked for a refund. They were very nice about it but I would have rathered had the food."

"We love it at waffles! Food is GREAT way above average!!! What I’m saying is other owners don’t put in the LOVE and WAFFLES does I believe the owner Cooks and staff loves thy brothers and sisters! "Not a single positive aspect about this visit! The server was preoccupied with a lengthy phone call, and our food was cold after sitting out for who knows how long. I had to walk in from the patio to check on our drinks because we never saw our original server again. We were informed that she was in a meeting. When our second server brought the check, she offered to send a manager over to talk to us. I really wish I had accepted that offer!"

"Went in based solely off reviews. They claimed the Chorizo breakfast burrito, chilaquiles, and burger were the best. Highly rated. So I went ahead and got the Chorizo burrito and chilaquiles. The food is not terrible, however; it's not super authentic, nor is it worth 5 stars. Not even 4. I believe that the demographic in this area is a bunch of white people who assume this place is delicious and authentic when, in reality, it's really just mediocre. If you want a smacking delicious Chorizo breakfast burrito, go up the street to Benitos. Then add potato and sour cream to it. Now, that's a place that I can definitively say is delicious and authentic."

"Our unexpected drive-by brought us to this wonderful Cuban restaurant. We began our meal with delicious tamales, which set the tone for what was to come. The roast chicken that followed was juicy and packed with flavor. Our main course, the churrasco with frijoles, was equally impressive. Although we enjoyed our meal outdoors, we did find the nearby road noise a bit distracting. Overall, the dining experience was exceptional."
