"Purely commenting on dinner service; I think the main draw for this place is breakfast/ brunch. Located on Jefferson’s campus, the place has no control over the dead area where it sits but the interior ambiance is somewhere between contractor colors and shabby chic. Service was fine and as nondescript as the location. The food was the big let down: the menu was an amalgamation of different items, none of which paired with each other. The presentation varied greatly from dish to dish. Each item tasted *almost* amazing it felt like everything was on the cusp of greatness but was missing a certain something every so often you’d have a bite and it would be “wow” worthy but it was so fleeting it felt like I imagined it. The cocktails were outstanding and the after dinner cappuccino was perfect. The entire premise feels like it is still in the beta testing phase. However, the pricing reflects having a cogent experience, which it is not. Philadelphia is rife with outstanding dining experiences. For now, dinner here is a hard pass. The best thing I think would be for this place to move (West Philadelphia or the suburbs) and become a cozier tapas style place."
