"I've been wanting to try The Lost Cajun for a while, and I finally got the chance earlier this week.
First up were the Boudin Balls, which are meat, rice, and spices rolled into a ball and fried. I think I might give these another shot. They were a bit overcooked on the outside but still tasty on the inside. Most Boudin balls I've had are spicy, but these were not.
Next, I had the fish and shrimp platter. I started by squeezing some lemon over the seafood. It was well-seasoned, lightly breaded, and crispy—not too salty and not slimy at all. I didn’t try the cole slaw, and the bread was simply a hotdog bun that was cut, buttered, and toasted.
For dessert, I had some beignets. It’s been a while since I’ve had them, and they came out fresh from the fryer. They were hot, fluffy, and delicious. I should have ordered some to take home.
Overall, will I return? Yes, I probably will if I'm in the area. There were definitely other menu items I’d like to try!"
