"the service was pretty good. I arrived a little late to join my party. they were already sitting and served drinks. I was not offered to order a drink and had to ask for water. the waitress was quite free what I appreciate, but was available when she was called. we had sushi/sashimi and mijo suppe for appetizer. eating was just okay and a bit on the pricier side. they had cool Japanese rooms in which they pulled out their shoes and sit around a low table. we didn't eat on these tables, but they looked like really nice experience."

"We had hope to sit outside but due to weather we needed to sit inside. It was difficult to hear each other but since we are all 81 that is also a problem. Our server was outstanding and very patient with our orders. Only complaint is that it took an hour to get our food. Yes, we will be back on a beautiful day next year. Thanks for asking."

"A few years ago, my experience here was terrible. However, this afternoon was excellent! The rice was perfectly cooked, and the salsa was fantastic—both the hot and mild options. The beans were amazing, and I had the best black bean soup I've ever tasted. The portions were huge! My wife had the fajitas, which were enough to serve three people. The veggie burrito was delightful as well. We'll definitely be returning!"

"We were at dinner for my husband’s birthday. The food was wonderful (delicious flavors and freshly prepared , and also the service was great. I had written a note when I made the reservation through Open Table that it was my husband’s birthday...after we arrived, I didn’t get a chance to discreetly alert remind the staff, but no worries, they clearly had read the note and put a birthday candle in his dessert. : It was great, thank you!"

"Makimoto offers the best sushi in the area, rivaling even Noble Fish in Clawson. Since our local sushi restaurant, Big Wave on Baldwin Road, closed down, we have been making the drive to Makimoto to satisfy our sushi cravings. While they do not serve alcohol, I do wish they had a bar for a cold beer or sake. Despite this small drawback, the quality of the food is excellent - I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. My daughter also enjoys the noodle dishes and other menu items they offer. Makimoto is more than just a sushi restaurant, and I highly recommend trying it out. You will love it!"

"The staff didn’t seem to understand what foam was or why I would want it on my cold brew. When I requested almond milk due to my lactose intolerance, they served me regular milk instead, which made me feel unwell right before a long drive—thanks for that! They also couldn’t prepare a frappe because they had already closed the blender an hour before closing time. The counter staff didn’t even realize what time it was and thought we were only half an hour away from closing when we asked. The coffee itself was decent, but the overall experience was quite ridiculous."

"Excellent breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns were crispy, and the chicken fried steak was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The country gravy tasted just like homemade gravy! My coffee cup never emptied. Even better was the service. Our server (the owner) was attentive, family friendly, and was super accommodating and helpful with our large party of seven. I plan to go back many times in the future!"

"Everything was great. When it comes to breakfast, I've often found myself ordering my eggs over easy since it's hard to find places that can make them over medium. On a whim, I decided to order them the way I like, and to my surprise, they came out perfectly. The potatoes were spot on. The biscuit and gravy were good, though I wouldn't say they were great, as they arrived cold, which affected their flavor. However, that might have more to do with my location in South Phoenix compared to the restaurant in Chandler. The temperature issue wasn't the fault of the restaurant or the Dasher. I will definitely be ordering from here again and plan to bring my family in for a dine-in experience."

"I spent $63 on two medium pizzas and was disappointed to find that both were burned. I appreciated the variety of toppings, but unfortunately, the quality fell short. However, I want to update my review: the owner, Marcel, reached out to me right away to personally apologize and mentioned he would discuss the issue with the chefs. I really appreciate that! "I ordered the pain spaghetti dinner with onion and meat balls and their teriyaki wings. The wings were chewy and tasted gross. The spaghetti the noodles weren't done and I didn't get any onions on it and I got barely any sauce. The meatballs were still pink in the middle and I did not get any bread sticks or my pop that comes with the spaghetti dinner. As it says so on their menu. I had to order a pop separately. Then I had to go get my food from the service counter. When I was seated as a eat in customer. And my food was in to go containers instead of a eat in plate as I was eating in I'd been their for like a hour before I ordered. Then when I told them there wings were gross she went on to tell me I'm wrong and that it was the sauce. I told her no it's the chicken it's chewy. I told her I want my money back she have me my money back with a attitude. Then when I brought the meatballs up their she said that they were not pink and they were. She also said that I wasn't getting my money back and that I was wrong again. The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES I'VE EVER HAD. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK THERE AGAIN. I WOULDN'T SUGGEST GOING THERE!!"

"Had such a delightful experience at Simple Green this afternoon. The staff was incredibly sweet (family-owned and passionate) and let me sample baklava and authentic rizogalo (both decadent). Their menu is clean and customizable, and everything I've tried has been superb. As a lovely bonus, their patio was the perfect way to enjoy the afternoon weather. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend."
