"I have been coming here since Kirin opened. I have had the sushi, miso soup, the drinks, fried rice, entrees, and appetizers. All of it has been delicious and plentiful. The staff is nice and the restaurant is clean. It can get busy, but they offer to go/take out for those days when you want to enjoy your food at home. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is nice, and it’s in a good location. I’ve worked my way through the menu. My favorite items from there include egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, crispy sriracha chicken, and the under the sea sushi roll. Happy eating!"

"Sushiya in Del Mar Highlands is a great spot to enjoy some Japanese cuisine. It's conveniently located near my home, so I frequent it for dinner occasionally. The prices are fair, and they offer half off deals on certain rolls and hand rolls. The food is decent, although some of the rolls were a bit messy and not perfectly crafted... but they were still tasty. While Sushiya isn't very large, it does have a sushi bar and a few outdoor tables. It can get busy, so seating may be limited. The decor is simple, nothing extravagant. The staff and service were pleasant, and the food was served promptly. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for Japanese cuisine!"

"This restaurant is truly outstanding! Amanda is an absolute gem and exemplifies what hospitality should be. I was disappointed when she wasn't working during my second visit, but the food and service were just as impressive, and I quickly got over it. The Yellowtail Carpaccio is something you dream about when you're craving that perfect umami flavor and tender tuna texture. As a native Phoenician who has relocated to Chicago, I've admittedly become a bit of a food snob, but this place consistently exceeds expectations. The quality and value are exceptional. Kabuki has become my go-to spot for satisfying and delicious sushi!"

"What a pleasant surprise in the middle of Northwestern Arkansas. I honestly wasn 't expecting to be impressed by their sushi. Kobe Sushi 's Vegas Roll and Philadelphia Rolls were good, but their signature Kobe Roll was outstanding; It had just the right balance of sauce, flavor, and protein. Their gyoza was decent as well! The special rolls menu is slightly overpriced, but the house rolls bring everything back to reality. Every staff member was kind and gentle. The atmosphere isn 't anything out of this world, but it 's ample for a casual date, small get-togethers or solo adventures. If I lived in Bentonville, Kobe Sushi would qualify as one of my regular eateries."

"They have an à la carte menu, but most people take the one price $29.00 or anything all you can eat. we took the $29.99 all you can eat price. The food was subpar. The service was extremely slow, and the restrooms were filthy. My husband order the steak ? teriyaki and I’ve had chewing gum that was more tender. I had the tuna. The tuna ? was so grizzly you could peel the gristle off like paper. When I put the tune in mo mouth and chewed it, I was left with a little piece grisel. It was so grizzly afterword I couldn’t even swallow it. For dessert, they have a choice of ice cream or fried cheesecake. We chose the ice cream it came in this little frozen plastic cup with a 2 inch flat wooden spoon. But really, the worst part was the bathroom. My goodness it was disgusting. they had a plunger in a plunger holder. Inside the plunger holder and on the plunger was a Brown residue. You don’t need much imagination to know what it was. If you looked on the top of the bathroom of the doors, do you know that metal frame that holds everything together . There was so much greasy dirt it looked like it was fuzzy. There was so much grease and dirt up there. I show a picture of it. It really was horrible. And they didn’t have a towel holder. It was broken. They had a roll of paper towels sitting on the counter. They were all wet and gooey. It’s peculiar, because when you first come in, it appears open and clean. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like."

"This place is actually better than most full sized restaurants! The menu is large. The portions are good and the food tastes excellent! They offer free miso soup, cold water or hot tea, and the food comes with a side of kimchi. I ordered the spicy squid stir fry and it is by far one of the best I've ever had. Their housemade sauce with red pepper rather than a typical gochu jang (red pepper paste) based sauce tastes way better, and they give you lots more perfectly cooked"
