"Lovely exposed brick restaurant has a great romantic feel. Attentive and professional waitstaff. Appetizers were wonderful. Beet salad-delicious. The Kale Sweet Potato cakes were the major standout. Could have eaten ten of them. Caramelized brussel sprouts-can 't go wrong. Unfortunately, they did go wrong with the seafood Cioppino which the waiter described as a thick stew. It was not a stew (which sounded good in subzero weather), it was a a little bit of sauce dripped over a big piece of sea bass, surrounded by mussels and shrimp. The sea bass was a nice cut, but it was barely warm and definitely hot meal temperature hot. My wife 's asparagus were a bit overcooked and her steak was unremarkable. Excellent evening in many ways, but we hit some so-so entrees."
