"Three of us stopped for dinner on a Thursday night. Got there about 5pm before the rush. We were all happy with our choices: Bandera enchiladas, steak burrito with mole sauce, and tacos al carbon. Good margaritas, and they have tequila flights. It seemed really popular in the downtown/square of Carrollton. Patio seating. Bar had happy hour specials. Street parking available."

"Me and my wife were on the hunt for some good food and a good special to go with it on a Monday evening. El Rincon popped up as the spot. First off, the chips and salsa were so good that it's easy to polish off a basket of warmed freshly made tortillas chips with salsa that's good enough to drink. Happy hour is all day on Monday's so I got a couple $3 drafts that were fresh and cold (some people know what fresh draft beer is compared to flat draft beer). My wife got a blended margarita that was great for $5. We shared the chicken fajitas meal that we were telling ourselves were some of the best authentic fajitas we had in a long time. The Charo Beans that come on the side were something that were a stand out two thumbs up. The only thing I did not care for was the rice, but I'm not a big rice person to begin with so I may not be the best critic when it comes to that department. Our bill was $30 so I was doing my happy dance for great food and drinks for a great price. Seems that this place has a good special for any day of the week except Sunday from what I recall. We will plan another trip with the kids sometime in the near future."

"We ordered both the Old School the one with the apple crumble. It satisfied a craving for a decadent dessert. They were good, but too pricey to go back. There were no prices posted and we were a bit shocked at how much the total was. The counter person had no interest in being there. Was wearing 2 ear pods and could not tell if he was talking to someone or listening to music instead of minding the customers. Even though we told him we had never been there before, he had no interest in talking up the options. It was a missed opportunity to make someone desire to return."

"I was so psyched to check out this place after pouring over their website and online menu! But on a quiet Sunday night we were quoted a 10 minute wait. After 30 minutes, we left. No food. No apologies from staff. Rude and disrespectful staff members ruined our experience. No one cared about our wait while staff moved at a snail’s pace. They won’t let anyone inside the store (masked or not) so we stood in the cold. Stay home. Save your money. Check out another place in the area. I wish I could review their food but we never got it. And there was no manager on site. Isn’t that odd? I think whoever was managing didn’t want to deal with a customer’s inquiries about the whereabouts of their order."

We tried the old skool, ube, cookies and cream, pineapple upside down and a coffee flavored one. OMG, not only are they beautiful to look at but they taste amazing. "This place has the best rolls in town! Tonight, we ordered the butter pecan and apple pie, and the staff warms them up for you. They bake all day, so everything is super fresh! The smoothies and iced coffee were also top-notch. We’ve added this spot to our bucket list and can't wait to come back and try more delicious treats!"
