"Very casual tavern that serves bbq. I made a reservation here, but I don't think I needed it because I showed up and it was empty haha. I ordered 2 appetizers: smoked wings and the beer batter covered onion rings! We only got a half order of the onion rings per the suggestion of our waiter, which I'm glad we took because the few pieces we got were huge and filling! We had the smoked wings tossed in the fire sauce, but it didn't actually taste spicy to us. For the entree I ordered the Texas brisket (sides: mashed potatoes and collard greens), which came with all sauces in to-go containers. The brisket was a little dry to me, but the sauces definitely helped! My husband ordered a burger that came with house chips, which he said was the perfect thickness and very crispy! Even though the brisket was a bit dry, I would still recommend it because it thought it still had a delicious smokey flavor. I think next time I would probably hold off on the appetizers because by the time our entrees came, I only took a few bites and had to take it home, same for my husband!"

"the name has changed since in las morelenses ii. the same great food. one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in the city. they have only been chased by the weekend (for dying.) I have been chasing a few days ago and she informed me that it was a weekend, so I asked for another suggestion. She said her chicken stable was delicious, and she wasn't wrong. the broth had a little bit of a kick to him with big pieces of mais and a baggy of chopped jalapenos, cilantro and wobbles they can add. they also offer all delicious Mexican so, horchata and Jamaica!"

"We visited El Charolais around 5:00 PM and were seated almost immediately. There were a couple of hosts, which made the wait seamless and kept things moving smoothly so you could quickly enjoy their delicious food. I ordered the steak strips with rice topped in a cheese sauce, and honestly, if you don’t try this dish, you’re definitely missing out on something special—any meat lover would absolutely enjoy it. They also offer vegetarian options to choose from. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the service is exceptional. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the rich flavors of authentic Mexican cuisine."

"I have no issue with the food being served at this restaurant as it was very tasty. However, my concern lies with the cleanliness of the establishment. It does not appear to be well-maintained and the food preparers do not wear gloves. They touch various surfaces, including tables and TVs, which could potentially harbor bacteria before handling the food. With the current variants of COVID-19, I have decided not to dine here again. Although my wife enjoys dining at this restaurant, I will opt to spend my money at other establishments, like El Gordo, where I can personally observe the kitchen and see how the food is prepared."

"My partner and I went to a Mexican restaurant for breakfast on a Friday morning. We decided to try the Steak Mexican Skillet and were impressed with how delicious and filling it was. The skillet came with pancakes, although unfortunately the restaurant didn't have any syrup to go with them. The service was a bit slow due to the crowded restaurant, but the staff was polite and attentive. We definitely plan on returning for dinner in the future."

"We had a large party on a Wednesday night the day before Thanksgiving, the place was really busy, they accommodated our group and the server was right on top of our needs, while the kitchen was a little slow (packed restaurant), the food all came outpretty much came out around the same time, orders correct and drinks were flowing. Spent a good amount of time there, around 2.5hrs, but great service, I will definitely go back when I'm on that side of town."

"Lulu’s Taco Shop is a spiritual experience wrapped in a tortilla. Five stars without even blinking. The enchiladas? Straight fire. Not like oh this is kinda spicy fire, I mean fire as in you might shed a single tear and reconsider every weak excuse for an enchilada you have ever eaten. The tacos are on a whole different level. Life transforming. One bite in and I started reevaluating my decisions, my job, my place in the universe. These tacos do not play around. They are loaded, perfectly seasoned, and somehow taste like love, chaos, and victory all at once. Even the rice and beans slap. Usually that part is an afterthought, but here it is like the supporting cast came to win an award. Not dry, not bland, just perfectly done. Service? Amazing. The staff is friendly, fast, and acts like they actually want you there, which is rare and deeply appreciated. Whole vibe is laid back and exactly what a taco spot should be. Lulu’s delivers every time. Come hungry, leave full and possibly emotionally attached. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I'm really glad I discovered this spot in LB, especially after feeling disappointed when El Bambuco closed down. I've visited twice so far. During my first visit, I tried the Bandeja Paisa, which was excellent. On my second visit, I ordered a patacón, which is a flat fried plantain topped with various ingredients. I requested beef, but they accidentally gave me chicken instead. They offered to fix it, but I was short on time, so I went ahead and ate it. Along with the patacón, I had a sweet corn arepa topped with cheese, and it was fantastic. As for parking, there's a lot behind the restaurant next to the laundromat, and if that's full, there's plenty of street parking available. The area does seem a bit sketchy, so make sure to lock your car and not leave any valuables inside."

"If you plan on coming with a big party don’t. It’s not the waiters fault but they only had one waiter for a room of 40 people. The thermostat was set to 80, we ordered parrilladas and brought the food out before the rice and the beans. Then we had to keep asking for tortillas multiple times. By the time they finally brought us the tortillas our food was cold. Again if your restaurant is not staffed to have a party of that size then don’t. The food was good, the waiter was nice but the poor guy was moving back and fourth so much that he would forget what people were asking for. Also, there was mold all over the vents and in the restrooms. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. What a disappointment."

"I have been living in California for 18 years, with my husband on weekends we go to different areas and Los Altos is one of my favorites. We had lunch and stayed for coffee. Yesterday we tried this colorful place: The interior is very warm, there is order, the guys from the staff are very attentive and professional. I ordered chips and salsa and two salads and we sat outside on the wide terrace on the street to wait for the order, when I went to get it, what a pleasant surprise: the salads are huge, also delicious. It has many tables with umbrellas, the wifi is powerful and reaches well outside, by the way the key is Burritos =D the atmosphere was calm and the service was fast. It opens at 9:30 a.m. every day and from Sunday to Wednesday it closes at 8:00 a.m. Thursday to Saturday it closes at 8:30 p.m. Surely on my next visit to Los Altos I will return to this place. I highly recommend it. Update: Today we went for the second time for another great lunch with my husband, there were quite a few people in the line before me, finally a very nice guy took my order Lulu chopped Salad al Pastor and Beef Taquitos he told me that it would be ready in 10 minutes. As it was a short time I stayed inside the place and noticed that he took orders by phone too and they accumulated until there were so many that the delivery of our lunch took almost 40 minutes. It's a shame because the food is very tasty."

"I treated myself to a bday dinner from this place 1st time ordering from here and I got a steak torta a fee tamales that's were disguise never seen a tamale that was that big and its as if they put the meat on top of the masa and heated it up in the microwave straight disgrace the steak was a bit salty and I barely ever complain about seasoning but it was salty my elote was salty also they put to much red powder on top of it wish I knew I would of told them not to put it on it. What a waist of money and I'm going to bed hungry. I hate to complain"

"We really enjoyed our breakfast here. Compared to the rest of Las Vegas food, a giant ham steak and eggs breakfast is a bargain at $14.95 and it was great! I am still trying to figure out what that sourdough toast was, it was some,of the best I have eaten. We did arrive later in the morning, but service was fast and very friendly. Of all the meals we had in LV this was definitely at the top for taste and value."

"**Dining Experience**: Dinner **Cost**: $20–30 per person **Food Rating**: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) **Service Rating**: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) **Atmosphere Rating**: ★★★★★ (5/5) **Recommended Dishes**: Chicken Fajitas, Taco Salad **Parking**: Plenty of parking available with a free parking lot The atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic, creating a welcoming and enjoyable setting for dinner. However, the food was just average and did not stand out as particularly memorable. Additionally, the service left much to be desired, as it was somewhat lacking. On the plus side, there is plenty of free parking available, making it easy to access. I would recommend trying the Chicken Fajitas and Taco Salad if you visit."

"At first glance, it might seem like just another typical Mexican restaurant, but this place has become a must-visit during our vacation. We had a 7-year-old with us who usually sticks to simpler foods, but he enjoyed their classic cheeseburger and even ventured out of his comfort zone by trying guacamole and chicken fajitas for the first time—and he actually liked them! If you’ve dealt with picky eaters, you know how significant that is!"

"I visited here since I was also working on 23rd Street, about 10 minutes east of this location. They also happened to show up on Yelp as one of the best restaurants in the area. I looked further and saw they had a chicken fried steak among other several classy menu items. In my experience, when an upscale restaurant has a CFS, it's usually damn good. When I ordered it, the bartender (because i sat at the bar) said people come from all over to order the dish. Their menu is not that large and consists of many beef dishes, so sorry for vegetarians. They would have to order a small plate, a soup or a salad, pretty much. They also have 2 daily specials that were not on the menu during my visit. A chicken and a fish dish. Also, their dessert are homemade, and 2 were normal size, 2 were large enough to be shared. When I arrived, the dining room wasn't that full... but my only seating option was the bar. Either they're out of reservations, or they just don't seat single customers at tables. Turns out by the time I was leaving, they did seat a single at a table near where I was at the bar, doubt he had a reservation. The cfs was delicious, and I could tell the meat was good quality. There was a lot of breading I ended up pulling off, but still a substantial amount of food for the price. You get 2 approx. 6 oz steaks that are fried in really tasty batter that isn't too salty. The ends were well cooked and not burnt like some places that pound the meat too thin or cook at too high of a temperature. The steaks are resting on top of homemade mashed potatoes, which have some pieces of skin. These were delicious, too. The cocktails looked delicious and were made by a friendly bartender who knows his stuff. My only regret was not ordering one. Attached are photos of before and after, and a postcard which they give you when paying."

"A wonderful local option for authentic Mexican food, atmosphere and hospitality! The service is prompt and friendly. The food was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. I ordered #57 Cazuelada I'll definitely order this entree again. The steak was cooked as ordered and the veggies had just the right amount of crunch. I think the mango margarita was from a mix, but it still had a pleasant taste and paired well with the flavors of fried food and melty cheese. There's a small bar with barstools as you enter, the dining room is large and open. It's standard Mexican restaurant decor and the booths are pretty comfy."

"Being a Mexican with a Mexican mother who cooks at a Michelin star level (in my humble opinion), finding a good Mexican restaurant is hard. It's really hard. So when I came to this restaurant and tried their gorditas, sopes, and tacos (I'm wary of trying dishes that are more time consuming to make like Mole, Pozole, or Tamales) I was blown away! My rule of thumb to see how good a Mexican restaurant is by how good their salsas taste. Everything tasted great! Highly recommend. Buen provecho!"

"I visited this restaurant again after several months and ordered my usual: a grilled shrimp salad. Unfortunately, I noticed that the quality of the food has declined over the years compared to when they first opened. The reason for my long absence was primarily due to issues with their drinks. My entire group ordered top-shelf alcohol for our cocktails, but after tasting them, we realized we didn’t receive what we had ordered. I ended up feeling extremely ill and couldn’t even leave the parking lot before getting sick, and another guest had a similar experience. If you’ve ever made cocktails with cheaper versus higher-quality alcohol, you know how noticeable the difference in taste is and how quickly it can lead to intoxication. Overall, the food is decent for a small town, but I can't overlook the drink situation."

"Super fast service!! We stopped by for a quick lunch and were in and out in under 30. Atmosphere was pretty cool, but let’s be real, we went for the food!I got their new tacos aztecas and it was incredible!! I loved the chorizo and chicken combo. Plus whatever sauce they put on it was super tasty!Chips were okay, but salsa was great!!!My buddy ordered chicken, rice and avocado and he said his food was awesome!!!Prices were reasonable and I highly recommend checking this place out."
