"I have been living in California for 18 years, with my husband on weekends we go to different areas and Los Altos is one of my favorites. We had lunch and stayed for coffee. Yesterday we tried this colorful place: The interior is very warm, there is order, the guys from the staff are very attentive and professional. I ordered chips and salsa and two salads and we sat outside on the wide terrace on the street to wait for the order, when I went to get it, what a pleasant surprise: the salads are huge, also delicious. It has many tables with umbrellas, the wifi is powerful and reaches well outside, by the way the key is Burritos =D the atmosphere was calm and the service was fast. It opens at 9:30 a.m. every day and from Sunday to Wednesday it closes at 8:00 a.m. Thursday to Saturday it closes at 8:30 p.m. Surely on my next visit to Los Altos I will return to this place. I highly recommend it. Update: Today we went for the second time for another great lunch with my husband, there were quite a few people in the line before me, finally a very nice guy took my order Lulu chopped Salad al Pastor and Beef Taquitos he told me that it would be ready in 10 minutes. As it was a short time I stayed inside the place and noticed that he took orders by phone too and they accumulated until there were so many that the delivery of our lunch took almost 40 minutes. It's a shame because the food is very tasty."

"I visited here since I was also working on 23rd Street, about 10 minutes east of this location. They also happened to show up on Yelp as one of the best restaurants in the area. I looked further and saw they had a chicken fried steak among other several classy menu items. In my experience, when an upscale restaurant has a CFS, it's usually damn good. When I ordered it, the bartender (because i sat at the bar) said people come from all over to order the dish. Their menu is not that large and consists of many beef dishes, so sorry for vegetarians. They would have to order a small plate, a soup or a salad, pretty much. They also have 2 daily specials that were not on the menu during my visit. A chicken and a fish dish. Also, their dessert are homemade, and 2 were normal size, 2 were large enough to be shared. When I arrived, the dining room wasn't that full... but my only seating option was the bar. Either they're out of reservations, or they just don't seat single customers at tables. Turns out by the time I was leaving, they did seat a single at a table near where I was at the bar, doubt he had a reservation. The cfs was delicious, and I could tell the meat was good quality. There was a lot of breading I ended up pulling off, but still a substantial amount of food for the price. You get 2 approx. 6 oz steaks that are fried in really tasty batter that isn't too salty. The ends were well cooked and not burnt like some places that pound the meat too thin or cook at too high of a temperature. The steaks are resting on top of homemade mashed potatoes, which have some pieces of skin. These were delicious, too. The cocktails looked delicious and were made by a friendly bartender who knows his stuff. My only regret was not ordering one. Attached are photos of before and after, and a postcard which they give you when paying."
