"I’ve eaten at EZ Tiger before and loved the food, as has my dad (who asks to go every time he’s in town), but today really blew it out of the water. The world can be mean, but moments like today give me hope. My aunt is visiting from Kenya and she’s Jain which means going anywhere to eat is nearly impossible because she’s fully vegan and also can’t eat anything that grows underground. I called EZ Tiger today to see if they could accommodate her with anything at all, even just some decent rice and a side, not expecting much because that’s usually my aunt’s experience when she travels. The manager Kennedy put together my aunt’s own “poke style” Jain bowl because “We don’t want her to miss out on delicious food because of her religious beliefs.” The compassion, humanity, kindness, and effort Kennedy provided our family today can’t be bought.
