"Wow! Where to begin!! First off I was looking for spumoni for my mother who hasn’t been able to find it and she’s been talking about it for about 2 years. Through searching I found it on their menu! So my mom came to visit from NY for thanksgiving so tonight I decided to take her. This was mine and her first time at Grapevine. What a beautiful restaurant! Inside and out! Very warm and welcoming. The staff is incredible! From being seated to the waitress Mandy (I believe) fantastic! A lovely lady complimented my makeup and was so sweet!! There’s an appetizer that they have with a flame and the whole staff yells OPA! They don’t seem annoyed at this and thoroughly enjoy it! We tried the boom boom shrimp which was to DIE FOR! If you don’t like a lot of spice I suggest the sauce on the side. I ordered a white pizza with broccoli and it was amazing! The crust was great! My mother ordered the meat lasagna and wow! The serving sizes are massive and the quality was fantastic! She got coffee that she said was strong and good, her spumoni and I got a dessert with honey and custard (not sure the name) it was wonderful! The entire experience was phenomenal. I spoke with the manager who was so nice because they’re doing such an incredible job! In this day and age it’s been so hard to find a restaurant with workers who seem to actually enjoy being there and interacting with guests and each other. Just wow!! I will be returning with my fiancé and his parents! This will be our new date spot for sure! Thank you again for a wonderful experience! So happy my mom was here to enjoy this!! Wishing this business all the success!"

"Honestly, I used to order all the time. Not any more. I ordered a pizza that was way undercooked and a chicken par. I ordered the chicken parm sub with extra cheese, they didn?t put any extra cheese. And to be honest, it didn?t even seem like they gavemuch effort to make it as is basic off of the menu. There was barely any chicken, cheese, or sauce. Just mainly bread. I wish Ihad caught this before they served it. I would have told them it was unacceptable. I guess I?ll feed it to the wildlife. There?sreally no nutritional value from ordering from here. Pizza was soggy and under prepped. If you go in, it?s a bunch of young kidsthat don?t care about anything other than the game currently playing. Really disappointing that this place used to be a staple. And to be completely honest, I don?t want a response from the owner saying ?I?m sorry please reach out to us directly so we cancorrect this issue?. How about, no. You can correct the issue by actually caring about your business and genuinely caring aboutthe products that you put out. By the way, your penne alla vodka is a joke. I?ve spoken to quite a few of long time customersthat now actually redirect their business elsewhere because of the poor quality of food. Sad to say but spend your money elsewhere. I will take photos to follow up. But if it helps to make up your mind, don?t waste your money here. Such a shame. EDIT:I just want it to be known that if you go there to pick up your food, it?s usually some younger female to deal with the overloadof phone calls while the males in the back, carelessly grow around food making poor mistakes to which they call food while theywatch foot ball and place bets and worry about fantasy football while they put out your ?worthless meals? they really do missthe point of the food and how much Amore used to mean. Such a shame but honestly, there are so many better places to order fromaround wallingford. The terms pasta and sauce don?t even ring a bell to these kids any"
