"Some say it is loud. Yes, it is a place to celebrate and do it with exuberance. It is home.....and fine dining blended together in what many could not handle. If you come for fine dining you will be mesmerized by the spectacular food. If you want quiet and demur with elegant music in the background you will be disappointed. It is like the home kitchen with family bantering and laughing all through it. Laura and Mel have taken that home feel, put flavors and foods together that will have you wondering, what flavors are those!? Desserts that Karlie puts together, like key lime crème brûlée and crème brûlée with vanilla bean and pepper corns; again having you wondering, how is this so amazing!? It is a small restaurant that takes glorious pride in providing a lot of their own home-grown foods, and what they can 't from the Fiddlehead Farm, they source locally. Our only negative is the Herbie Hancock is going into hibernation until basil comes again in the spring. Needless to say, we applaud their commitment to 'the fresh ' and 'in season ', but are already depressed because Herbie was a trusted friend! And the staff, what beautiful amazing souls! They compliment the dreams of two woman and add their own verve, like an added sauce that takes the meal to the next level. I think we would even go so far as to say they are the wonderful butter dripping over a beautiful steak or delicately prepared fish. Standing ovation to such a wonderful place and the atmosphere they foster!!!"

"Very disappointed and just terrible!! Tried this place on a whim and it ruined our Friday Pizza Night! Pizza was small for a large and the price. Pizza was horribly burnt on the bottom and the unpleasant burnt taste was noticable throughout it. Since the owner likes to accuse others with similar experience as not getting the coal fire concept, I will specify, this is not my first experience with coal fire pizza. I get it just fine but did not get a good one here. I got half soppressata and it tasted horrible! So bad I couldn 't actually even eat it and picking it off did not help, the nasty taste permeated throughout, thoroughly. Not to mention simply asking if it was hot or mild got me an inaccurate lecture on what it was. I have been eating it since before the clerk was born! Sauce did not have a good flavor and there was absolutely nothing authentically Italian about this place despite what they try to portray, including but not limited to NOT one actual Italian cook or worker in sight! This was my first and last time ever eating here. I will brace myself for the owner response somehow justifying this mess of a restaurant, as I see that is a pattern with reviews here. Idk how they think that gives a good look. I run from places where owners do that. If only I had read reviews first! Update: I knew I would get one of these responses! And it literally came through minutes after posting my review! Wow! If it 's not the owner responding to these reviews though, then why does it say owner in parentheses? ?"
