"We really enjoyed the food, but unfortunately, the lady who served us was rude and unaccommodating. Most restaurants we've visited while traveling have shown more humility and courtesy, but this one did not. I hope she can change her attitude towards customers, as she came across as quite sensitive and arrogant. The food itself was excellent, so I'm giving my stars to the chef!"

"I enjoyed fast service at the restaurant, and the pork adobo I ordered was absolutely delicious! On a scorching day with temperatures over 90 degrees, the restaurant maintained a nice, cool atmosphere. During my visit, I noticed that many of the patrons were Filipino, which speaks highly of the authenticity of the food offered here. My only minor issue was that the lunch portion was quite large, but considering it was under $8.00, I didn't feel the need to mention it to the staff. After being in NYC for three days, I can confidently say this is the best meal I've had since my arrival!"

"Food is good but it's cold. The white rice is cold which is weird from it being served from the rice cooker. The tocino is cold. Longanisa is cold. Eggs are cold. The only thing that's really hot when served are the sinigang and nilaga. It's so disappointing! I've been here a couple of times already and the food is just really cold. I know when I always try the food when I get in my car. It's not even warm. Sadly. Overall, the only thing I really like are the lumpia and crispy sisig. That's all I'd come back for. The location on Vermont is better! You will not be disappointed."

HANDS DOWN THEY HAVE THE The BEST HOME COOKED Filipino Food in the CITY! Every single dish is always on point and does not miss.Their Bilo Bilo GINATAANG for dessert and it warmed our stomachs it had sweet potatoes, jack fruit, and my favorite glutinous balls.Their spinach laaing has easily become one of my favorite dishes instead of using banana leaves the spinach is much lighter and I could literally eat this dish every single day. I went there 3 times in a week to just get the spinach laaing. NOT EVEN LYING the cashier was like wow you must really love it. LMAO BECAUSE I DO!!!!The PORK SINIGANG was warm and soothing with the perfect amount of sourness the pork was fatty and tender. Perfect anything or when the weather is foggy/cold/chilly.I LOVED HOW THEIR DINUGUAN had fatty pork belly pieces and tender meat and it was fresh, very clean, and delicious. Sometimes, Dinugan is old and rancid, but Turo Turo's is always so fresh! CHICKEN AFRITADA and PORK and CHICKEN BBQ skewers were so tasty as always and always on point.Being Filipino I am honestly so sick of pancit, but I actually really like their pancit! It is soft, flavorful, and I can never not stop eating itMECHADO and BISTEK were meaty, tender, and perfectly seasoned perfect with rice.Next time I will try their silogs (breakfast) and other non Filipino food dishes and update my review."

"Grill21 consistently provides top-notch food every single time! We've ordered takeout from here numerous times and sampled most of the menu; everything is delightful! Some of our favorites include lechon kawali, chicken BBQ, lumpia, grilled pork belly, daing, tinapa, pansit, sinigang, and leche flan. The turon, when available, is also wonderfully crunchy and sweet. Delivery is quick and everything arrives neatly packaged, plus they generously provide extra vinegar and sauces upon request, which we really appreciate."
