"When visiting Suntory, plan ahead and make reservations. Too often I 've wanted to have a quick lunch at Suntory only to find out they 're fully booked for lunch. My Mom loves Suntory and has been asking me to take her for awhile. Luckily I snagged reservations and ordered the limited set Shunsai lunch. Service at Suntory is always great. We were seated at a very nice and comfortable table. Our server was attentive and efficient. Not to mention the a/c was at a perfect temperature. Not too hot or cold which for me is hard to do. Everyone in our group found something to suit their taste. For me, the tempura and cold udon combo was excellent. Tempura was crispy, light, and had all the right vegetables with a fried shrimp. The cold udon was also good but maybe too light in flavor. My Dad had the Shunsai and he said it was special. While there wasn 't a specific dish that stood out, he thought the entire set was well done and ample. My Mom had the cold soba and tempura. She enjoyed it and said it was very good. I wish they would bring back their lunch specials. I used to have this baked salmon avocado mayo dish that was very good. That was the only disappointment as I was looking forward to maybe ordering that dish. Since Suntory is located in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center parking was tight and validation limited. "I've been here a couple of times before writing this review, three times actually. It's time for me to give them some credit. This is a great Guu. In-fact I prefer it over the Robson location, the servers are very personable. We were with a diner that has not been exposed to the Guu shouting experience (that's the only way i know how to describe it). and instead of looking at her like she was an alien they we very accommodating and answered all of her questions abut the food without being condescending. Which is nice to see in Vancouver. Everyone was happy with their meal, I drank a wee bit too much sake and everyone was happy at the end of the night. If you've not been to this Guu, or any Guu I would highly recommend it. Thanks guys."

"We ate breakfast here with our family which included children from 20 months to 12 years of age. Most of our family members enjoyed the breakfast buffet which had many options and an omlette station. Some of the kids were disappointed not to find waffles on the buffet. The breakfast menu has a nice selection of items if you do not wish to eat at the buffet. The food is not cheap and we spent about 20 per person plus tip. The staff are incredible here and waited on us hand and foot. Overall we were very happy with our experience."

"Similar to its sister location in the Mission district of San Francisco, Mission Chinese offers a lively dining experience. "I really enjoyed this experience! Our server was well versed in the menu, sake, and wine. Food was absolutely delicious! Host took time to explain to us how the menu worked and how much would be enough for us. My only feedback to make sure the room temp is comfortable as it was a little warm when we arrived but cooled off as the evening went on, hire a busser cause it's too much work for one server with tables all needing the same detailed attention. Finally, this was not my server but another server had awful BO. Said server only came to our table once because he was helping but It's really hard to enjoy beautiful food when someone is smelly. Overall wonderful!"
