"I’m pleased to say, I don’t have to go into the City to experience an authentic taste of Japan. I had the Bento box lunch plate, with Karaage Chicken, not teriyaki!I wanted to try something new. Karaage is something I have never had before. The portion was generous and the chicken was juicy and tender with a spice and flavor that to me was unique. The description on the menu said “spicy” but it’s not hot, more of a gentle tangy taste. But not sweet! Very flavorful with a delicious dipping sauce on the side.Excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. A nice selection of wines, beers and sake.I forgot to order Miso soup and California roll. I liked the house made cheese cake. Yet, I was disappointed that it wasn’t made with Anko or green tea ice cream or maybe even Japanese persimmon. Next time I visit I will try the beef Teriyaki and maybe some Udon."
