"Recently in May 2023, my companion and I both ordered the special vermicelli bowl at Linh Son and it was delicious. We requested straight fish sauce and extra dipping sauce, both of which were provided. The meal was fantastic and we finished every last bite, pairing it with Thai iced tea. Linh Son never fails to disappoint and this visit was no different. My daughter opted for a rice noodle plate with grilled pork belly and pork sausage, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I decided on the banh xeo, a dish I always use to rate Vietnamese restaurants. While it wasn't as good as homemade, it was still quite tasty. The dish was served with romaine leaves and cilantro, although I would have preferred whole lettuce leaves and more herbs. The portion size was huge (though I prefer smaller and crispier), and it was accompanied by a bowl of overly sweet chili sauce. I asked for nuoc mam and water instead, and had a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. We will definitely be returning in the future."
