"We drove an hour to come here. The ambiance is very nice and I was excited finally get to go. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The food however, was way below par and needs to be revamped. I was expecting the fried chicken to be the original recipe but to my recollection of what it tasted like, it wasn't. Although it was still good. The side dishes were not so good. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a package, the green beans tasted like they came from a can, and the cream spinach was ok but came out room temp. The best part was the vegetable soup and the dinner rolls. They tasted home made. Overall I was not impressed. If you want to keep your customers coming back and have them leave with an oowwww-ahhhhh experience, I highly recommend raising your prices a little and bring in fresh, home style cooking, real food!"

"Overall, the customer service at the drive-thru was good. I tried the Buffalo chicken and seafood pizza and, although I wasn't impressed, I can't fully judge their traditional pizzas yet. I realized that I should stick to more traditional pizza options in the future. I plan to try their traditional Italian dishes, like a pizza with ordinary toppings or their Stromboli, or maybe even their award-winning wings. While I'm not sure if their regular pizza can compete with Arturo's in New Orleans, I did have a good time at Memphis Tavern before trying it. I enjoyed my experience at Memphis Tavern so much that I wish I could have stayed for another round. I won't give up on traditional Italian food just yet, and I suggest others do the same. Have a good night and steer clear of specialty pizzas. Focus on more traditional options like I plan to do next time. I may be halfway wrong, but I also feel halfway right."

"Lanes are extremely super dry, the kids they hire to run the oil machine before league have no clue to what they’re doing, they can’t even tell if the oil is coming out or not I know this because I asked them. If you’re a league or tournament bowler don’t waste your time trying to practice on a weekend. Kids spilling drinks all over the bowling area and the young employee behind the counter does not enforce the rules. The food is also starting to drop in quality for the past few weeks too. Restaurant staff are really nice . Management needs to hire someone with experience on bowling lanes and how important it is to keep the lanes oiled and conditioned properly or they will be paying a lots of money in the long run on new lanes Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3"

"A group of five of us decided to have dinner at Johan's Bar one night. We waited for over 45 minutes for our food. One person in our group eventually asked when our food would be ready, and they said in 5 minutes. We ended up waiting another 10 minutes. The next day, we discussed our meal and found out that the hamburgers were cold, the nachos had solid cheese in the middle that was not melted, and one person was overcharged for their drink. It was evident that our food had been sitting in the kitchen for a while before being served to us."

"I should qualify this review, first, by adding that I did not get to enjoy their food. They happened to be closed on the particular Sunday (Mother's Day) that my boyfriend I were in town for; we were on a toad trip to NC; however, we had a nice time admiring the window displays; we wished we could have sampled the food maybe bought ourselves a t-shirt. "Next, I tried the famous Cheesy Western Burger. I have had a fried egg on a burger before and enjoyed it, but I found that the scrambled eggs on the Cheesy Western Burger with cheese and their house relish, which tasted like a mix of regular relish and mustard, did not enhance the flavor. The scrambled eggs lacked taste and their spongy texture did not complement the burger well. I found that the toppings overpowered the taste of the hamburger itself. I think there were also onion rings included with my order, but they were forgettable. The service was okay, as it was a takeout order. However, when I got to my car to eat, the food had already cooled to room temperature. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed. Maybe the original location would have been a better experience. I may give it another shot in the future and try a different menu item. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering the Cheesy Western again. Despite the positive reviews, I personally did not see the hype."

"items incorrectly made, missing extra items, missing toppings, missing requested bacon, some items had toppings that we did not request (relish . Chili was fantastic (only high point! , but burgers were tiny and not worth the high price. We did not like the relish at all, but that is personal preference. The problem is it was added to everything, even if we did not request it and it wasnt a listed ingredient. Quality issues, pricing issues, ingredient issues. Was excited to try this place, but that was first and last time we order unfortunately."

"We weren't quite sure how to proceed when we arrived, due to no welcome inside. BUT, the food was wonderful! We had a Reuben, a shrimp basket with fries, Cobb salad, Chef's salad, and a FANTASTIC Mushroom Swiss burger, which had to be a half pound burger smothered with all of those mushrooms!!! Our party also had a so-so, tough, BLT on thick white bread. Not so good. There was ample outside seating, on a beautiful afternoon, with SxS parking, and right off of the trail. Keep it up!!! This was a wonderful trail destination!"
