"This place is a gem, good quality food and reasonably priced. We ordered their seafood stew. I didn?t know what to expect with the stew because I don?t know if seafood is their specialty. The soup was served well, good portion, right temperature and plenty of seafood. I am surprised they didn?t use ginger to season but it didn?t diminish the flavor. I would have given them a five star rating but their service is not quite there. Our waiter was busy and didn?t have time to attend our table (and other tables around us). Again, their food is good but the service can bring up the their overall performance."

"the cafe fina is one of the best places to eat in monterey, if not in quite California. it is a traditional Italian seafood place, offering amazing dishes made with high quality ingredients. but more than good eating (and drinks) it is a place where they can take someone from a colleague to their mother to a date. the owner dominic is personable and really takes care of the culinary experience of each hospitable. from the minute they go, until they dessert and amaro pack them or one of his excellent co-workers- take care of them. they can also not beat sitting on the marina and watching the water and the sea live. the restaurant is a facility in monterey and the guests come from the close and far to enjoy eating and ambiente and they know that this is a good restaurant because it has a loyal succession, people who have gowned here will be customers for living."

"I visited the bar on a late Saturday for some margaritas and a bite to eat. The house-made chips and guacamole were fantastic. The Queso Fundido with chorizo was delightful, perfectly blending melted cheese with seasoned sausage. I also tried the Vera Cruz crispy chicken Caesar salad topped with cilantro ranch dressing, and it was amazing. The chicken was tossed in a honey chipotle sauce, and the cilantro dressing provided a refreshing balance to the salad, complementing the spicy chicken. The food prices were very reasonable. Cocktails and beers were much cheaper than many places, with domestic bottles at $3 and imported bottles at $4. The restaurant serves authentic Mexican cuisine, and I will definitely be returning. The staff was wonderful, and the owner even took the time to chat with us at the bar to ensure we had a great experience."

"Met a friend for wine and tapas on a tuesday night and it was busy. I made a reservation, just in case. We each had a wine flight, which was fun. There were a lot to choose from. When they are served, they give you a paper identifying each wine, some tasting notes, and a space for your thoughts. Very helpful. Service was tag-team, which got everything out, and was fine. Ordered the cheese plate, some olives, and a portabella mushroom appetizer. All tasty. Will definitely be back."

"Online menu has not been updated — prices have increased significantly which is understandable but they should update their website. Have gone twice during busy times, Sunday lunch and weekday at 7PM very empty restaurant. Maybe the prices are bit too high for what you get?Good place to get chilaquiles great variety each order comes with a piece of steak.With so many other Mexican restaurants in the area — you’re probably better off going somewhere else unless you’re specifically craving over priced chilaquiles."

"We have dined at Mas Tapas several times over the years, whether for special events, set menus, or regular evenings out. While it excels in cocktails and tapas, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a full dinner. During our most recent visit, the service was quite slow, and the tapas we ordered were significantly better than our main courses. The Iberico pork secreto stood out as particularly delicious. The paella was good but not exceptional, featuring decent crispy chorizo and rather uninspiring seafood, consisting only of shrimp. My wife's risotto had several lemon seeds in it, which is not something you would expect at this price point. On a positive note, the cocktails were impressive; the **** negroni was especially outstanding. We will definitely return for drinks and tapas, but we won’t be ordering main dishes again."

"This is a lovely newer, small, family-run Spanish Mexican restaurant in downtown Silver Spring (directly across from AFI very near Filmore Regal Cinema . The cocktail wine list is small but well chosen with plenty of tequilas/mezcals even portos. Small tapas starters cover Spanish favorites such as Pan a la Catalan (delicious , boquerias, albondigas (in green tomatillo sauce! , shrimp, croquetas, with some creative takes on Spanish classics. Also tapas dishes covering ceviche, cured meats, even paella. Daily specials included a delicious seafood soup (app or side, not a main . Also Mexican faves such as guacamole, tacos, fajitas qeusadillas, etc. Will need several visits to explore the menu! Friendly excellent service. Highly recommend!"
