"I always have a great experience at this Denny's. In fact, I always look forward to visiting this particular location. We decided to have lunch here to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. He received a free meal and a special birthday shake, which he really enjoyed. Despite the fact that the air conditioning was not working that day, the servers provided excellent service and made our experience enjoyable."

"Although our eating was satisfactory, a waitress on their backs fall and are taken by caravans, not a good setting. all because of poor building maintenance. coworkers where they run around like they, where the water emerges from the deck, but they were not, another customer said that the waiter would put someone in the two behind us, but not because of the leak, he obviously forget to pass the word. I personally asked for someone to get a mop before someone else falls. also asked for wet floor signs that were not on when our waitress fell. it seemed simply not enough to worry about closing a section that was a security risk and protecting its customers, let alone their employees."

"Denny's is a 24-hour restaurant where you can enjoy a hot breakfast at any time of the day without having to settle for a throwaway meal. Instead, you can come in, sit down, and relax as you are waited on by friendly staff. My experience at the Mokena Denny's was fantastic, as the food was always prepared exactly as described on the menu. Even when I requested a dish that was no longer on the menu, the chef was willing to accommodate my request as long as they had the necessary ingredients. I recently ordered The Southern Slam, a dish that had been discontinued for 10 years, which consists of biscuits and gravy with eggs cooked to your preference. Despite its absence from the menu, Denny's in Mokena was able to make it for me."

"If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. Every time I come here I say I'm never going back. I've given it a few more tries and it's always terrible. Today we were there for 20 minutes before we even got our drinks. It took over an hour for ourfood. By the time the food got there it was so gross no one touched it. The nachos looked like someone threw up in a bowl. Thesausage was undercooked. Toast was so stale it seemed like it had been sitting for days and had a pound of butter on it. Iliterally had to scrape it off into a pile on my plate there was so much. The bacon was like paper. Eggs were cold and way oversalted. Thoroughly unimpressed. We had a person at our table who had no silverware, we asked for silverware and hot sauce. Wenever got the silverware but by the time the hot sauce came over 10 minutes later we didn't even need it anymore. Food isdisgusting Service is terrible What a waste of time and money."

"It’s been way or 2 1/2 years since I’ve ate there. The service was bad then the food was bad here. I’m here in 2025 and it’s no better than it was back in 2021. The waitress comes and tell us they don’t have half the food. The truck don’t come in till Monday then turn around they make the grits and stuff up. My eggs are rubbery from my omelette they made and greasy my hashbrowns were burnt instead of crispy took us 45 minutes to even get it.. couldn’t even eat all bill $28.nasty !!!"

"We had a great experience here today. Took my 1 year old for breakfast and the server, Denise (I believe was her name) was phonomanal. She was great with him, great with us. Made sure we had everything we needed at all times. Helped me save money by putting what I wanted into a meal. I don't have enough good things to say about her. Even the person that greeted us and took payment was very friendly and helpful. I've been here before this experience was just very above and beyond. I hope she knows she made our day! She even put drinks and hot food out of reach of the baby you would think everyone would do that but they do not. Food was also just very delicious. But that service made the meal and the experience."

"The food is always good and now days a pretty inexpensive place to eat. We have eaten the burgers and they were delicious. But not one I could eat with my hands. I had to use a fork because it was so big. I have a breakfast many times and my husband will order a steak occasionally.I would very much recommend this place if it’s not too crowded because of the service nowadays it’s hard to find someone to work and the food oh it makes me hungry just thinking about it."

"I went to that Denny's today and I was partially disappointed, although the food was excellent, and manager did apologies none the less they didn't have most of the stuff we wanted. upon ordering, we ask for an avocado burger, they didn't have avocado, we ask for a banana pancake, they didn't have banana, we ask for a milkshake, they didn't have milk. how can't you not have milk, it's a breakfast and dinner place for god sake. and a customer ask for a salad, they didn't have lettuce. I was such a disappointment. God knows what else they don't have there. Denny's got to do better cause they never fail to disappointed me and my family. cooperate and management team got to do better. it is unacceptable."

"I had gone with a group of my family, we knew it was going to take a while because there were 12 of us, so we came in to reserve our seats. The guy at the register said it would be 15-20 min, which wasn’t bad. So we’re waiting, for a little over 20 minutes. Keep in mind, plenty of people have gone in after and immediately got seated. A family of 8 came in and they told them 15-20 minutes, then 2 minutes later, the hispanic guy went outside and told them their table was ready. It was only two minutes they waited. Not once did they let us know how much longer did it take and they continued seating other people while ignoring us. Regardless if there wasn’t room for 12, as an employee, the least you could do was apologize for the inconvenience. From one hispanic to another, you’d think we’d be treated with a little more respect. It’s honestly disappointing and if they were trying their best, they could’ve communicated it. Instead of staring/rolling eyes and whispering to each other. When we told them we were leaving they looked relieved and kind of shooed us off. Do better."

"My husband, son, and I stopped in for a late lunch and ended up waiting nearly an hour for our food. We noticed that other diners at nearby tables were experiencing similar delays. It turned out that the kitchen was behind on orders and the staff was short-handed, which caused the longer wait. I understand that things can go wrong, but while the waitress offered discounts to other customers, she never once mentioned a discount for us—just an apology for the inconvenience. We ended up paying nearly $50 for just the three of us. It would have been nice if they had at least taken our drinks off the bill."

"If i could give a o star or a negative star i would.Got there at 9:30p when i was told the order would be done at 9:25p. Well ended up waiting till 10pm. Was originally told it would be 10 to 15 more minutes.When i got my order i told the one worker that my order was wrong. She started to grab the containers out and open then without a care in the world. (So my husband's food went for a ride). She tried to talk over me when i was trying to explain what was wrong. When i was able to get them to understand what was wrong. Had to wait to get it.Then when i got home to eat my food found several things missing from add ons to sauces to condiments. The sampler appetizer the onion rings were cold and mushy and the fries where over salted. My husband's steak was inedible, it had a taste like a set in a dirty fridge and defrosted. Not rare, like it sat there and lost the blood and then cooked. We barely ate our dinner and we are afraid to finish eating it once he tasted his steak.I said something to the manager about the wait and he acted like he didn't care and was oh well.Had to share my meal with my husband so he ate something besides mashed potatoes and broccoli."

"This was a great and clean spot (tried stopping at another location and eww no) felt safe in this location. At 5am there was only one other guest and we did have to wait a minute to get seated, when we did get a waitress we were informed that we wouldhave to order at the register, luckily we did know what we wanted, and with the time I get it. We were fine with it. Our foodcame and the breakfast was Perfect! Everything tasted amazing and with the great food was our Great waitress Lorane C. "I always enjoy visiting Denny's, and while I've been here many times, I haven't shared a review until now. Normally, I go for the Grand Slam as my breakfast choice, but this time I opted for lunch. I tried the new Bourbon Bacon Burger and the Pot Roast Melt sandwich, and both were delicious! There were about three or four servers on duty, and the service was excellent. After our meal, we still felt a bit hungry, so we decided to order a side of French fries and a cheesecake dessert, which really hit the spot. In total, our meal came to around $36 for two hungry people, which I thought was quite reasonable. My mom absolutely loves her T-bone steak, and I sampled the double cheeseburger—definitely good and quite large!"

"Her job was quite demanding, as she was managing six tables while the other servers were unavailable. Despite the heavy workload, she truly gave her all to keep up with everyone – serving meals, refilling drinks, rolling silverware, checking in customers, and even accommodating a last-minute order of potatoes for us just before we left, all while the kitchen was closing down. We truly appreciated her effort and understood the slight wait, even though we had hungry kids under 10 with us. Thank you for a memorable experience!"

"Excellent store manager Jackson was so friendly and helpful just really disappointed in the quality of food usually I go to Denny's and am like that was awesome well today I called ahead instead of sitting down in the store, poor decision on my part honestly because the call center that answers the phones and takes your order which is dumb in my opinion to out source a call center to take to go orders. Why do that when you have employees who can answer the phone who speak English and understand English better than the call reps. Any way the quality of the food was poor my burger was way over cooked dry when it's supposed to have the bourbon sauce on it and overall just not satisfied with the food I gave it a 3 instead of a 1 because the manager was so willing to go above and beyond to make things right that's gotta count for something."
