"We ordered a large amount of food for our daughter's birthday through their website. It was a busy Saturday evening, so it took longer than expected. However, when they brought out our order, they apologized and gave us an extra item, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious as usual. The only minor issue was deciding on the spiciness level, as it was unclear if 1 or 5 was hotter. We chose 2 and found it to be plenty spicy, which we enjoyed. We highly recommend Dragon's Pond. One tip for those picking up food is to be aware that there are many restaurants with outdoor dining on Lotus, which may limit parking. You may need to park in the garage across the street, which was free as of 11/15/2020. Enjoy!"

"my favourite place to go when I visit friends and family! the personal is friendly and professional, the whole food is handmade, instead of supplied by lkw and heated. the atmosphere is also quite cozy; the wall color goes very well with the rest of the decor. my favorite dishes are the small pancakes I would like to eat as my only meal for the rest of my life, and the sweet acid fish that is so tender that they hardly cut! can not wait to come back and try them out of the menu! we have recently ordered from here, not to realize that it was not open to sit down, we have made it anyway. eating was as usual delicious when something different from what I had before, despite the same menu items."

"Mind you i only go here because my grandma likes to meet here for lunch sometimes. the food is mediocre, but the same waitress lady with the bad bob haircut rolls her eyes at me when i am trying to figure what to order, when i order more than one apetizer she is always your done ordering, you order no more like ma 'am scuse you, and today she gave me the wrong food, came running back and was like no not yours how could you be,, something i sat and waited for her to make her rounds getting other tables drinks and such as lunch started. So i could get my check and togo box she never came by i asked to guywho seats people for my stuff..i hate it so much ots uncomfortable to sit there . All her little snarky comments"

"Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed and seated by a friendly lady who truly embodied hospitality. Our server, Terry, was remarkably attentive and accommodating, making us feel completely at ease. We feasted on a delightful array of dishes, including the delicious soup dumplings, enticing hot and sour dumplings, flavorful handmade noodles with scalded chili, and expertly crafted scallion pancakes. A little tip: be sure to try them with the chili oil for an extra burst of flavor! Overall, our experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the ambiance to the service, and of course the delicious food, this tea house surpassed all our expectations. "Many friends had recommended this restaurant, but I found the ingredients, taste, and prices to be disappointing. The cost for adults has increased to $35.99 per person. While the Marinated Beef, Fresh Beef Tripe, and Beef Tripe were good, I had several negative experiences. 1. The SZE Crispy Pork is not worth ordering. It was not crispy at all but rather hard, as if it had been sitting out for a long time. The fungus had a flavor reminiscent of chewing on wood chips and had a gritty texture. 2. We were compelled to leave a 17% tip despite having fewer than four people in our party. The waiter only came by once to refill our ice water, and he didn’t even check on the hot pot, which was almost dry by the end of our meal. 3. We were informed that a 3% fee would be added for credit card payments, which I have not encountered in other Chinese restaurants around the city."

"Charlie is outstanding! They serve the best Japanese chicken that tastes like it was grilled outdoors; I initially thought it was steak. The only downside to their buffet is that I wish they would include Veggie Egg Foo Young as an option, but I would prefer them to be smaller, similar to what you find at Super Chinese Buffet in Barboursville."

"This place has the best Chinese fried rice period. We always loved to go to this place when we’re in irving. I convinced couple of my colleagues to go with me for lunch and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food Ordered Chicken Fried Rice Extra Spicy, Veg Lo Mein, Singapore Fried Rice with Tofu and Veg All 3 of them were exceptional, one of my colleague loved the Singapore fried rice so much he ordered one in the evening to go for dinner. Quick and friendly service as it needs to be and quality food!"
