"They claim to be an Italian restaurant. As an Italian who has enjoyed Italian cuisine my whole life, ranging from the best to the worst, I must say this place falls at the bottom. I ordered a custom calzone with spinach and ricotta cheese, but they added mushrooms without my request. There was only a small amount of ricotta, a few spinach leaves, and an overwhelming amount of garlic. The garlic seemed to be the kind that comes pre-minced in a jar. The calzone was also very small and soaked in oil. For $14, it was a disappointment. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. I ordered delivery from Grubhub, but if I had dined in I would have spoken to the manager immediately. Think twice before ordering from here. There are many great Italian restaurants in Palm Springs, but this is not one of them."

"Not a fan of the comments from the owner on my review. Had to update his comment to dig a little deeper each time. The owner has a poor attitude towards any criticism, comes across as rather arrogant and even goes so low as to belittle any negative yelpers. Insinuating that I am whining about having to wait nearly 30 minutes for lentil soup, tabouli, fattoush, OJ, lemonade and hummus. Making it sound as if he made the lentil just for my order as with the tabouli and the hummus too. I am stunned at the owners full on assault about my review of his place. Be careful what you say or the owner will go on the defense and attack. We ordered a fresh mint lemonade, OJ, 1 bowl of crushed lentil and a cup of crushed lentil, small spicy hummus, tabbouli, medium fattoush sans pita. Total is $39.33. No dine-in. Carry out or pickup window is available. Order would take about 15 minutes. They told us to wait in the car and come back inside when ready. No curbside but they offer a makeshift drive up window. They have two DTE car chargers in the back for those that are driving electrified. I was really craving fattoush salad and felt a deficit of greens today. 25 minutes later and we are still waiting for our order to be done. Out in 26 minutes. The lentil is bland, oily too, but slightly better with lemon juice. Small brown pieces in it, no idea what they are. The tabouli is tasteless and boring. It doesn't have enough lemon, even with the wedge on the side. The parsley doesn't taste or look so fresh either. We dumped it after a few bites to make sure our palates weren't skewed by the other dishes. Our buds were on point, it's bland for sure. Total waste of money. The spicy humus is also grainy and not smooth. The fresh mint lemonade is too minty and does not have enough lemonade in it. It's too earthy and wasn't refreshing to me. The OJ was fine. The fattoush salad was okay, dressing and salad were nothing special. Had a few brown romaine leaves in my salad. : Dressing was a bit flat, more sumac might have helped, better lettuce too. Now I can stop wondering if this place is any good every time I drive by it. It is subpar and disappointing."

"It was pretty late so maybe that’s why it wasn’t as good as I expected it to be. My friend and I got there mins before the kitchen closed, so the food was most likely rushed. "this place is a hidden gem! I came here with a group of friends on a Sunday afternoon and young, oh young, we were not disappointed! I had the 8 oz burger of the bug a with jalapeño poppers and fries. the poppers were crispy, cheesy and pissing hot. the burger was perfectly booked and had the most fat, juicy tomato pane. our waitress was attentive and friendly but not too overlaid. eating spoke for themselves, not a person had food on her teller when we left. we will definitely come back!"

"Excellent dinner at Olga?s last night. Our server, Sable, was a sweetheart and very attentive to our needs. The food was incredibly delicious and the homemade Thousand Island dressing to go with my open-faced Reuben was out of this world. We weresuper impressed with the large vegan menu as several of our family members are vegan and you don?t see this kind of variety atother restaurants. We selected multiple desserts to take home to try. Prices were great$ We were only in Marlton to pick up somefurniture that we purchased and it?s over an hour from where we live but we are definitely coming back with some of our familymembers and can?t wait to try some of the vegan food. "Wow! Living in the Midwest I don 't get seafood this fresh and Shells doesn 't disappoint! Our server Bailey, is friendly and personable. She showed true interest in us and helped us navigate the menu to pick the best dishes for us. I asked what she would order and she recommended: Fresh Mahi Mahi Felix topped with jumbo lump crabmeat and roasted red peppers in a lobster cream sauce. Served with seasoned rice over vegetable medley. (Pictured) I was not disappointed, I am still so full an hour after eating while writing this. Thank you Bailey, perfect choice! I think this should be called The Bailey Special My wife got the Baby Lobster Pasta, Succulent baby lobster tails tossed with linguine in lobster cream sauce. She was blown away and the sauce could be a soup! Our son ubered us so we could enjoy the bar, we started off with a Mojito (wife) (which the bartender didn 't know how to make but got it pretty close) I got the house margarita with a sugar rim, very good. We then switched gears to an Island Breeze (AMAZING! Light and refreshing like the name suggests and my drink the Rum Punch was true to its name too as it felt like I got punched in the face rum, not a bad thing! Atmosphere is light and approximately themed, everything looked and smelled clean. We don 't live here, but if we return we will be back! "I went here for breakfast as it isn’t far from home. My first impression was that they were packed…this was not accurate. They just share a parking lot. I walked in and upon first impression, the hostess seemed less enthusiastic to be at work on a Saturday. I get it but her overall demeanor wasn’t welcoming. Perhaps giving her a script to say as guests walk in would alleviate. She really just didn’t seem to know what to say. There was an awkward silence…no greeting…so I finally just said “table for 1”. She sat me at the second booth from the window and walked away. I probably only waited 1:20 before sweet Kathleen walked up. Her intro was pleasant and cheerful. She’s a gem. I let her know it was my first time there and she was helpful in suggestions and even upselling. She knew her menu and made me the best iced coffee ever. Seriously, amazing cinnamon roll ice coffee. I ordered the carnitas skillet upon Kathleen’s recommendation. Overall, presentation was great. It came out rather fast which never impresses me. But it was hot. The only complaint I truly have is I manage a breakfast restaurant and I’m familiar in the freshness of hash browns. These were not fresh but the flavor of the skillet outweighed that. Kathleen also recommended a cinnamon roll. I wasn’t disappointed. I just hate how cinnamon rolls get hard rather quickly if not eaten right away; and since it was as big as my face, I could not eat it all. I’ll definitely be back for Kathleen’s service. Such a beautiful spirit and I genuinely loved her! Even as they got busy, she never made me feel less important than anyone else. She really handled her section with ease!"

"First and last time I will go there ! I’ll start with the rib eye. Served with “French Fries” for such a fancy and not cheap restaurant I can not understand why you don’t offer other sides like roasted vegetables to pair better with a steak, but after all the steak tasted spoiled and didn’t have much flavor to it. Now off to the lamb chops. Also offers with French fries or a salad. I opted for the salad, which was very basic. For a so called high end restaurant I was not impressed at all. If your looking for a great all around upscale restaurant go to Toscafino’s) the food there has never let me down."

"We enjoyed our food. We were immediately seated upon entering the location. They have a gluten free menu and also served my husband a separate basket of chips and salsa. "absolutely terrible experience. we have gone to several other locations of On the Border and enjoyed it, but when we walked into the restaurant tonight we stood there for 10 minutes until someone finally came up to us.she was very unfriendly and mumbled something about how they are behind we can wait for her to clean a table or serve ourselves at a self serve table, and then walked away? we didn’t understand what she said so we thought she said to choose any place to sit that is clean, so we did that, and then she got shook her head, clearly annoyed, and rudely told us to wait for her. then she finally brought us to a booth and told us someone would be with us shortly. we waited 15 minutes and no one came to take our order, let alone greet us or give us the chips and salsa that all other locations give. so we had no choice but to get up and leave. there were so many dirty tables and the bathrooms were disgusting, so we were worried the food would be unhygienic. it is safe to say that i am never coming back to any On the Border restaurant ever again!"

"The food at this restaurant is outstanding, with great service and reasonable prices—it’s some of the best food I've ever had. It rivals Cracker Barrel and surpasses many other places regardless of their prices. However, I have to update my review after a recent visit with my wife at the end of February. We ordered two New York strip steaks, and unfortunately, they were among the worst we've ever had. They were tough and lacking in flavor, which makes me think they might not be sourcing from the same vendor as before. While I understand that prices for everything have gone up, I expect a premium steak for $28—something tender and flavorful. I was also disappointed to find that they don’t offer Ribeyes, which is my favorite cut. Regarding the owner's response to my review, which suggested they would "look into it," that felt dismissive and as if they were questioning my honesty. I understand rising costs, but I can’t accept paying higher prices for an inferior product. I've been a loyal customer of PMG for over twenty years, driving more than thirty miles each way to enjoy a meal there, and it's disheartening that our favorite mountain restaurant has fallen short of the high standards we're used to. As a simple country guy, I know the difference between good aged steaks and whatever lesser quality product is being served now."

"I feel sorry for the two waitresses; they were incredibly busy and had to juggle multiple tasks, running between tables, prepping in the kitchen, and managing the front desk. As a result, the wait times for assistance and food were quite long. While I can be patient with that, I specifically came for the steak and eggs, but since I have an onion allergy, I asked if they could leave it unseasoned. Unfortunately, I learned that the steak is pre-prepared and simply heated up. So, I opted for the eggs, hash browns, and bacon instead. The eggs and bacon were delicious, but the hash browns were excessively greasy, with a puddle of oil underneath. On a positive note, the coffee was great, and the waitresses were very kind."

"a fast casual dining area, the vegan, carnivores, carb lovers and spicy friends? Fire me up. if I could give it five stars, I would. I ordered a half aloo Gobi/half saagan and masala flower flower flowers bites per suggestion of the owners and man, it has delivered. even my meat-eating family members stole pieces after they had consumed their pfeffer chocolate and magic garlic knots. I'm back, and I can't expect to try more of the growing vegan menu options!"
