"This was my first visit to this completely gluten-free bakery. I usually don’t eat fried food, so the Millionaire Chicken and Waffles, accompanied by cinnamon donut holes and real maple syrup, left me feeling quite sleepy. However, it was enjoyable to indulge without any guilt. I'm excited to try the dairy-free cheese curds on my next visit. The hot press coffee was excellent, although there are no free refills on the cold brew coffee.
I enjoyed the lemon raspberry cookie, the strawberry cheesecake cookie (which is not dairy-free), and the blueberry scone — all were very tasty. I appreciate that they offer vegan, nut-free, and soy-free baked goods.
However, there are areas for improvement: the biscuits and gravy were undercooked and doughy, and the eggs were not cooked to my request of over-medium. The potatoes also tasted pre-frozen. Additionally, the use of plastic plates and mugs, along with cheap flatware, gives a less-than-satisfactory feel to the dining experience.
Despite these issues, I would make the hour-long drive again someday to try the chicken sandwich, cheese curds, and more items from the bakery."
