"I needed to get a cake a for a friend's baby shower and discovered that Porto's is no longer offering custom cakes. This ended up being a huge gain for me because it led to me calling Cake Monkey Bakery in North Hollywood. I spoke with Danielle who was lovely and so helpful. They aren't currently taking custom orders but I was able to choose the color of frosting and Danielle recommended some local businesses that sell cake toppers. I ordered a 10 brown butter chocolate cake with mint green Tahitian buttercream frosting. The cake was multi layered and delicious and well below the price point I was expecting. I will certainly be going back to Cake Monkey in the future, not only for their wonderful products, but for the extremely friendly service I received."
