"I have been a fan of LaBamba since they first opened their original location in Champaign, IL back in the late 80's/early 90's when I was in college there. When we later moved to Springfield, they opened a location there as well, which made me very happy. The quality of their fresh, casual Mexican food remained consistent from their original store. In 2018, my wife and I decided to adopt a vegan diet for health reasons, and LaBamba was one of the few fast food restaurants where we could still enjoy a satisfying meal. They were accommodating and made their burritos and tacos completely vegan while still keeping them delicious and filling."
