"This is a lovely neighborhood restaurant. The hostesses, Natalia and Rachelle, are welcoming and friendly to all customers. As soon as you enter, they are ready to take your order for takeout or seat you for dining in. The Al Pastor tacos are delicious, especially when paired with a refreshing Jamaica (Hibiscus) drink. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, which is a great advantage. The prices are very reasonable too. It’s a nice spot to bring your family on a Saturday afternoon."

"Was really disappointed that the food we ordered. Mac and cheese balls had good texture no flavour, hotdog tasted like costco hotdogs loaded radish and onion. Wings were ok, and salad was a soggy mess. Servers were too busy chatting, we had to walk up to them twice to get napkins and ketchup. $99 after all this, such a waste!"

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with scallion pancakes (yum) and ending with my chicken and broccoli (yum again) , the lunch deal (rice, main dish and soup) was very well priced and really delicious. The setting is wonderful--brick walls, and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommend!!"

"I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and found it to be quite acceptable. Someday, I plan to visit Thailand and then I will be able to determine if this place is authentic. Until then, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant. However, after visiting Thailand, I can confirm that the food here is just as good as in Thailand, but much more expensive. In Thailand, you can get an amazing meal for $1.50, whereas here it costs $15.00. That's ten times the price!"

"Try the Carnitas Arturo! AMAZING. If you like pulled pork, you will love this variation on Carnitas, a classic twice cooked pork dish. Delicious, juicy pork is cooked in a smokey, slightly spicy, slightly barbeque-like sauce with caramelized onions and served with hot flour tortillas, shredded salad, white Mexican cheese and fresh guacamole so that you can roll your own burritos. It comes with Mexican rice and fried beans. It is a HUGE plate of food... simply enough for two, especially if you order it with a (ginormous) sown salad. I've never tasted that. It is absolutely unique and so juicy and juicy. I wish I had ordered it myself! I ordered a combination plate with cheese enchilada, beef burrito and beef taco - the usual suspects - from the front of the menu. My food was acceptable - it is a kind of American Mexican food: familiar, but unexcepted. But if you choose from the standard taco burrito-enchilada choices, these chefs really make Mexican food shine. We will eat leftovers for a few days - the portions are huge - but if we run out, we intend to try something else from the inside of the menu again. Our waiter was very attentive, and we were satisfied with the service."

"I like Viva I've gotten some good meals here but the past two have made me hesitant to order from this location. There was a tiny plastic piece wrap in my tacu bowl last week (gagggggg) then a good sized bone in the great wrap. I understand there is a possibility of bones with how they do their pulled chicken; but just be cautious if you have children eating wraps (or anything where bone is hidden). I hope they're super cautious with kids meals."

"Awesome food and service every time we go. I recommend their rewards program as well.I like the quarter chicken with yuca and green beans as the sides. The green sauce (medium spice level), is the best, if you like cilantro.Nice outside seating area. Inside tends to be a little on the chilly side. Bring a sweater or jacket if you get cold easily."

Two people in our party ordered salads and they arrived AFTER our entrees had arrived The food did taste good, however, and the server kindly brought out the correct items when we brought it to her attention. She said something about someone new in the kitchen The location is great, but I am guessing Cafe Paragon caters to the neighborhood college crowd, because the place could use some general maintenance and paint I would recommend for lunch."

"I recently dined at the St. George location of Viva Chicken, and it was fantastic! The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the portions were generous with plenty of great options. As a vegan and my husband being a vegetarian, we were a bit hesitant to visit, but we’re so glad we did. My husband ordered the Tuca Bowl, and I had the Andina Salad—both were incredibly tasty and very satisfying. We also enjoyed the green beans, which were a nice touch. There was a small mix-up with my order, as they brought me the Viva Salad instead of the Andina Salad. However, once I notified them, they promptly prepared the correct salad for me. They were very accommodating throughout the experience. Overall, a wonderful meal!"

"I used to live in Charlotte and loved the Viva Chicken there. Got my wife all hyped up about trying and we ordered it for pickup. The chicken and plantains were very burnt, not lightly charred, but burnt to a crisp. Not a great first impression for my wife and son, and I was hugely disappointed because I know how good it’s supposed to taste. Extremely disappointed that this location’s standards are so low that they served us burnt food. I threw it away before thinking about leaving a review or there would have been pictures. Avoid this location, definitely try the one in Charlotte if you’re in the area."

"Really the best chinese food of my life! The shrimp toast was aromatic and the outer flakes. The shrimp lo mein and spicy shrimp with peanuts were also great dishes. "What can I say, viva Chicken is the bomb. Staff here are super nice, food comes out quick and is tender deliciousness. We got a whole chicken, green beans, cilantro rice, French fries, herbal limeade, the purple corn drink, and Amarillo sauce. It was sogood. I have to say, those were the best French fries I've ever had, and the chicken was juicy and tender. If you ever have aday where you just wanna buy a rotisserie chicken and eat it in the car, this is the top place to go. The marinade on thechicken is so good. And the cilantro rice is not overpowered with the amount cilantro. The green beans are really tasty, too.The drinks are wild on the taste buds and so refreshing. Also got the trees leches cake and it's so light and the flavor isdelicate but warm. The price for the amount of food is great too, especially considering how quality everything is. Sodefinitely give viva Chicken a try. You won't leave hungry or disappointed."

"I had a fantastic half chicken and rice, but I encountered a surprising issue. I ordered sweet potato fries along with my half chicken, and they packaged both items in the same takeout box. Naturally, the fries became a soggy mess in the moist chicken container. It was such a disappointment! After a long drive, I was really looking forward to crispy, hot fries. I haven't been to McDonald's in 30 years, but I'm pretty sure they would never do that. Overall, the service was for takeout."

"Today, we returned to Viva Chicken after doing our taxes. I really needed a pick-me-up, and this restaurant is the perfect spot. We ordered a whole chicken along with the Viva Salad, chicken soup, and arroz chaufa as side dishes. I opted for the chicha morada, renowned for its delicious blend of clove, apple, pineapple, and blue corn. My wife chose the lime slush, a refreshing mix of lime juice with rosemary, mint, and basil. To finish, we shared a tres leches cake for dessert. The atmosphere here is vibrant, and the customer service is outstanding. If you're craving Peruvian-style chicken, this is the place to go! Today, I decided to become a fan so I can enjoy a discount on my next visit."
