"Reservation made arrived on time. Asked if I had a reservation even though the restaurant was almost empty. Really great views from our indoor table. The service was a bit erratic. Originally had a female server, then a male. Drinks were a little slow coming to the table even though the restaurant was half filled. Ordered Thai Calamari was good but clearly frozen, being so close to Sound it should be fresh. Raw clams were clean and fresh. Chilean Sea Bass was flavorful and cooked very well. Bivet Steak was cooked to order and seasoned to perfection. Sides of Grilled Asparagus Mac Cheese were very good. My opinions are…the room is over lit…meaning add some better atmosphere by dimming the lights and the service needs to be tighter..waited way to long for drinks with the amount of people in restaurant. Bartender seemed more interested in babes all game on TV than customers. Finally, a gentleman passed our table twice, asked about our experience yet was wondering why he didn’t see what we saw. Finally I asked myself why a restaurant with pretty good food, offering indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the Long Island sound was not packed to capacity on a Saturday night?"
